Maintain tyre pressure aptly, use quality engine oil,clean head once in 30000 km, use 2t oil through pump only, tune carburetor to normal torque, use quality air filter, don't rev up unnecessarily, check clutch plates timly. Can get 40 km/ ltr, my experience since 1987

I used this bike rx100 for more than 3 decades, I have taken utmost care of it, because i love it as a part of my body. During its service it got 3 times rebored, and finally it was resleeved last year, last month i disposed off it with much pain, because of non availability of spare parts and also due to my age, now i am at 59,. I used it since petrol rate was at rs.8/- i almost ride it 3 lakh 23k km overall. Its meter completed for 3 times and at the time of disposing it , it shows 23718 km. It had given me 42km in city and 49kmpl in long rides for many years, after 2nd time reboring it was giving 38kmpl in city and 46kmpl in long ride, at 3rd reboring mileage was 35 and 41,. After re-sleeving the pickup has gone 25percent down, but mileage was 42in city and 47 on highway. Mileage of this bike depends mainly on its accelaration, that we should know.

@@zumbo9078 riding it in economy speeed with proper gearing gives good mileage. If it is ridden at high speed. It will not give good mileage . But agar 40s se 50s men chalaenge tabhi sahi mileage dega..

You r comparing with 100 CC bikes , during our school and college time even 170 CC and 350 CC bikes were not able to touch me on this RX 100. Also you are lucky to have roads now a days. You can’t even imagine on what creators we have rode bikes. I was able to cover nearly 40 kmpl and nearly 35 in very rough driving. Petrol was like 25 rs per l at that time.

Ye 100cc hai hi nhi iska price 2000 me ek 150cc jitta tha ye bike 100cc bikes se bhut mehngi thi aapko isse plsr150 ya apache 150cc old model se race karna chahiye yamaha pehle to 100-150cc mehngi bechta and kehta r15 150cc hai😂 joki ek joke ha bss,, 2.5 lack ki bike 150cc segmnt ke upper hai bhut ye 250cc range ki bikes ka price bracket hai and 250cc me r15 bekar hai same like rx100 rx is costly machine its not100cc 😂
