I own a Yamaha SA2200, a truly fantastic guitar. Great sound, versatility, playability and craftmanship. I recommend it. I was lucky to find a used one for almost half the price of a new one. The guitar was a couple years old, but barely used.

So in Yamaha's infinite wisdom they have discontinued production of this model. I have the SA 2000 purchased in 1982 for $675 brand new at Sam Ash in NYC. Not quite as high end as the 2200, but still an awesome instrument. I have updated to include Seymour Duncan JB and Jazz and Tone Pro Bridge and tailpiece and Schaller tuners.

I hope “infinite wisdom” was a joke. I’ve thought of late about both an SA-2000 and this model. Both of them seem to have appeal.

i just wannna say i paid 300$ more for the SA2200 when i made my decision between es335(custom shop) and the SA2200 its just feels way much better then any guitar i ever played, and sound like an amazing semi hollow, but some magic on the sound something that sounds like prefection... its not explainable you go ahead and find a way to test it yourselfs XD

Rather have the YAMAHA SA2200 than the GIBSON 335! GIBSON IS NOT USING THE SAME WOODS Anymore on their guitars. They have changed all the wood products! YAMAHA has not! SA2200 is super high "QUALITY" for less money than the GIBSON 335! SUPER GREAT GUITAR, ONE OF YAMAHA'a BEST! LIKE A VINTAGE HAMMOND B3 "QUALITY"! Don't wait buy it today at Hammond Organ World! I got a great deal there!

With nickle/chrome hardware rather than "gag me gold", and an adult nut width rather than the unplayable 1 11/16ths, I would consider it.

BUILD = Craftsmanship was "Amazing", truly blow away. FEEL = One of the best damn actions i've played "EVER" !!! SOUND = Sorry, but you could get the cheapest Les Paul "COPY" ever made, drop it from a second story building, and you might have something similar in tone ! I was really bummed because it was the damn nicest thing to play ever ! Man if they took this neck and action and made a Les Paul, Gibson would be shittin Kittens !

It sounds like a delay to me. But I agree. It kinda makes everything all messy sounding.

Mettre autant d effets pour un soit disant test de guitare n a aucun sens a part camoufler des lacunes techniques
