Ohhh, this patch is a really nice one. I've heard quite a few demos of the Yamaha Montage, MOTIF XF, MODX, etc. They are incredible & powerful synths that are capable of some amazing sounds. But in my opinion....I think there's just something about older Yamaha synths like the SY that sound a little warmer & have more of an analog type sound to them, compared to the new Yamaha synths. Don't get me wrong. The new Yamaha synths are awesome, but the older ones are great, too, and they have their own unique charm & character.
