An old road and a tunnel on 13:00 realy amazed me, i didn't notice anywhere it was an abandoned railway, but when you entered the tunnel - 'Such a misty piece of a history' =)

Rail beds are always nearly flat in slope with gentle curves. When he mentioned the rail line in his commentary I didn't realize it was abandonned and they would be on it right after. Once i saw the trail I realized it was an old rail bed. Lots of that on the Canadian prairies near me...only they are arrow straight and flat as the surronding terrain. Kind of a bummer when i see what they have to ride in.

Awesome mate, I'm doing that trip next week on my 1290 and have been looking for information about the route, can't wait to watch it when i get home!

well if your camping discovery center at Ubobo makes a great base camp so you don't need to lug camp gear everywhere , been very dry up that way ,20 klm trail to plane crash site very powdery bull dust ,the one way track back from the crash site past the Wall campground was much better we did full loop came up kroombit tops off tablelands road .

@@AdventureMotoEnduro top video mate, really enjoyed it. That road with all the tunnel's on it, what's it called? Also on day 2 did you go up Cedarvale Rd into Kroombit? Man I've got so many questions, any chance I could get the route you took?

@@AdventureMotoEnduro G'day Dave - I'm looking to do a ride up that way later in the month and your route looks like it differs from our usual Kroombit route(s) - is the offer of posting the gpx still open? Would be much appreciated. Cheers Sam
