I quite enjoyed fitting these parts to the bike. Sadly it was in preparation for a trip that didn’t happen but the bike is ready to go and looks the part.

Those bars look good and all those things sound like smart moves to me. As that old saying goes better safe than sorry

Yeah they’re definitely worth it, there’s no way I would want any of those issues to happen to my bike so I’m glad I splashed out. GPS next 👌🏻

She’s coming along lovely. Upgrades better to have them and not need them, than to need them and not have them.

Yeah, absolutely. I think it’s clear to see what could happen if I didn’t have them fitted so I’d rather fit them in the hope to at least minimise damage rather than completely damage the bike and put it out of action 👍🏻

Greetings, As always another brilliant detailed video production 🇺🇲🍾🎉🇺🇲 Would you provide me with the link to purchase the mods. Thank you so much for assisting me and keep producing more videos about the T7

Hello @@rosarioroberto5823 hope you are well! Thanks for watching and for your kind words 🙏🏻. So, crash bars are adventurespec bars: www.adventurespec.com Headlight protector and Nylon screws were from Rally Raid: www.rallyraidproducts.co.uk I’m currently working away at the moment but will be back home mid November and have a weekend trip planned with a few friends so I hope to get something recorded on the T7 and uploaded soon after ✊🏻.

Hi thanks for the informative video , a suggestion if I may , buy yourself some ratchet ring spanners . In tight spots it so much easier than having to lift the spanner off and re-seat it to get another turn,

Cheers David, they’re on the list of things to buy for sure and will be a welcomed addition 👌🏻

I had two sets of those crash bars and they bent very easily. And when I say easily it means that a small side fall is all that it takes to damage them. Get Hepco & Becker crash bars. They are more expensive, but they hold up much better.

Cheers dude, much appreciated. I’ll have a look in to a set for my old GS as well 👍🏻

More money on parts that will break needing more money to replace and sometimes they also damage things that wouldn't get damaged if you haven't had them in the first place. That's a vicious cycle. In my opinion crash bars are overrated. Some of them will even restrict your lean ability in corners... Can be dangerous. What you can add are covers for the engine that protect vital parts of it in case of a drop or slide. Those can make the difference between getting towed and getting home on your own. Anything else... Don't waste your money. The chain guide is only necessary if you do hardcore offroad stuff. I don't see any of the other stuff on Enduros or Cross bikes. What you add is weight weight weight on an already pretty heavy offroad bike.

I think I was clear with my points and pictures that led to the decisions for me to add what I added. A chain guide is cheaper than repairing an engine with a hole in it. A light guard is cheaper than replacing a smashed light. A snapped nylon screw is cheaper than a metal screw and is easier to replace. Crash bars, I’ll agree that in some cases they are overrated but in low speed falls or drops, they help save a bike as I’ve witnessed many a time, and with these particular bars, I’m likely to scrape the ground with the pegs before the bars cause an issue with leaning so I’m not concerned. I’m really not concerned about weight, it seems people get hung up on it as if it’s sacrilege to add weight to a bike, and again I’m very aware that when you add weight to something then it gets heavier but I’ve ridden heavier bikes off-road and don’t think adding four pretty light add-ons will make much of a difference. You don’t see 700cc twins in enduro bikes either….. I can’t really tell if you’re trying to impart some knowledge on me or have a bit of a problem that I’ve added these parts to my bike but either way it’s money not spent in a pub with only a hangover to show for it. Happy riding ✊🏻
