Tenere 700 Suspension Upgrade RallyRaid/Tractive Closed Cartridge Install | DIY

How to install of the RallyRaid Tractive Extreme Fork Kit Closed Cartridge Kit on Yamaha T7. How to remove front wheel and forks.
Hope this helps I tried covering with as much detail while learning how to do the install at the sametime.
I did not see a need to replace fork seals and bushing as my bike is a 2023 with very low miles. Yamaha Tenere 700

Amigo, Thanks for this excellent video.. Very helpful! It was good to validate using the 15W oil in air chamber, and all the pro tips regarding loosening the tight stuff on the bike. Im 220lbs running K-Tech, 6.6nm fork springs and stock shock with 85nm spring. Works great riding hard or riding loaded, and is still not harsh and no fork bottoming. Cheers!

Very good install man. Can you dm where you got that measuring cup? I was trying to find one like that a couple of weeks ago but couldn't find one as i need to replace all my fork oil.

Some people use them some people don’t. Most bikes will just come with a screw to pull out, you can by a aftermarket bleeder. Air buildup can cause the forks to act harsh. A simple press on the bleeder before your ride can cure this. Additionally Motion Pro even recommends bleeding off the air when you are transporting your bike by with compressed forks to make life on your fork seals easier. You want to bleed the forks with the front wheel of the ground.

I really didn't dive to deep researching Touratech since it was out of my price range. If you are looking for the extra 25mm travel front and rear, I found that direct through Tractive they have many more option to choose from in spring rates. Was also considering Ohlins, just could not find much info on the setup.

Touratech is exactly the same as Tractive, just yellow instead of orange
