Yamaha TRBX 305 VS 605 (101 Eastbound Jam)

The 305 is way more growly and mid-oriented, not always a good thing. Sounds quite a lot like the Ibanez SRX300 which is expected as their pickups are similar. I'd go with the 605 if versatility was needed. But... the real winner here of course is the playing. Professional level, amazing tightness, groove and dynamics. I just wish I one day reach this level.

Groovy clip, Rama 😎🎸 I’m a huge Yamaha fan and I own a trbx505. They’re definitely one of the most unique basses I’ve ever own. Both basses sound incredible and they play beautifully. I’ve been thinking about purchasing another trbx bass sometime soon. I simply love these basses

@@RamaNatan I would have thought that the trbx basses are underrated. Well more underrated than the bb basses. Still they’re phenomenal instruments. With that being said, another Yamaha bb bass would be my other choice since I do own one. Also groovy tune. 😎🎸

@@RamaNatan sure thing…and yeah the Yamaha bb basses are incredible at any level model and price range. The same can be said about the Yamaha trbx basses. They’re truly unique basses that are also underrated

Trbx305 is at least for me "that Yamaha sound". I have it and it makes a lot of things better than 5 times more expensive instruments that I comared myself...

You definitely have Nathan’s style captured. That says a lot. They both sound better than I would have expected. Still think the TRB5P2 is the best 5 string bass Yamaha ever made.

The 605 has so many creamy timbres, I'd go with it. It's worth every penny in the price difference, which isn't that extreme.

it's the stock strings, if I bought it, I'll change it for sure

not the strings,that because mid boost of 3 band eq ,many peoples like 3 band like this yamaha 605 ,but 2 band have very nice crunchy slap tone becouse no mid boost i think rbx375,trbx305 sound very nice because volume, balancer, treble boost and bass boost But trb1000 series and trbx 605 come with 3 band eq mid boost,treble boost, bass boost , volume and balancer so very round creamy ugly tone
