Let's face it, doing an oil and filter change on most motorcycles is a relatively easy job & more often then not most mechanics, if they are been honest, won't even bother checking torque settings when doing these daily tasks....
But, when it's your own bike if you are like me, you're a little more inclined to try do the best job you can & have piece of mind that you won't strip a thread by over tightening a bolt or maybe fit the oil filter the wrong way around which could prevent oil flowing around the engine causing some pretty serious damage and big repair bills...
This may be why my 'oil & filter' change videos seem to be so popular, I include everything you need to know, with the info sourced from the Manufacturer's own workshop manual, including all relevant torque settings, quantities and as many of the part numbers I have to hand too, including the best type of oil to use for that bike...
