Enjoy your new earphones 😊 You can tweak them a bit with the Yamaha app or even use a third party one for more lower frequencies but enhancing them will eat into their details.

I don't reccommend getting a TWS costing more than 7k. The battery life goes down significantly after 18 months and the shelf life is around 2 years. You are better served by investing in a good IEM below 5k (the wires are changeable) that offer a far better sound quality. Yes, the X2 is excellent and OPPO has tuned it well.

I haven't tested these Sony's, so I don't know how these will hold up against them. The E5B isn't the most enthusiastic in the bass, but detail wise, it's a very good performer. If you're okay with controlled and not bloated bass for any genre and artist, it's a good listen.

Today I was in contact with my AirPods Pro 2 again. I don't know why mostly they are the "Thing to beat". Sound wise they're nothing special but the ANC is really good. What was really annoying to me is the bad fitting for my ears. The right bud always wants to fall out when I was moving around. The Yamaha looks very pleasant. I would give them a try but who loan them to me?

Bought it today. Initial details are better than Realme etc., I have a Tevi, this is almost on par. May be slightly better. I get pain in the ear for keeping in the ear. not because of sound but because of the design. Maybe I have to find a correct fit. Never happens with other earbuds. Really pains. Case took 4 to 5 hours to charge. Maybe it is due to first time. I feared for worse. Better than that. I missed 7eB when it was sold for 9K. Paul may be correct n his assessment.

Try rotating the earphone in the ear it hurts. My left ear has a smaller concha than the right, so this set and E7B I would rotate differently compared to the right and had no discomfort after this. The E7B going for 9K is insane. It's certainly my favorite set of earphones, and I do prefer it over the E5B. Let the E5B run in for a few days, I found the E3B to be superior with detail and harmonics compared to the pureplay Z3. The E5B should also push past it slightly, provided you're using Hi-Res audio and broadcasting in the Aptx codec.

The best I've heard are the Yamaha EP-E70A for calls. Nothing else I've tested has come close to its quality of voice carry over. Give my review of it a look and call chapter for the demo if you'd like to.

Without lying, I finished the video because it's Paul, if not for me, all earbuds with more than 2 pins connecting the headphones to the case is a no go ❌ It poses a privacy (Microsoft earbuds) problem for me, no earbuds need more than 2 pins to just recharge.

Overall audio detail, the Yamaha's. They've got the best imaging and stage of this lot. If it's bass you're after, avoid the Yamaha's and go for the Realme.

The E5B can seem a little too thin in the bass than the E7B. I'd highly recommend the E7B if you have that kind of budget. It's superior sounding in every way compared to the E5B. Feel free to watch my in-depth review on it if you'd like to.

It's not really a set that has been competing with competition if you ask me. Yamaha has stayed clear from features like touch controls and ANC, and even their tuning for sound has never really been trying to outdo anyone else. They're sticking to their own style all around. But strictly on a sound front, I'd say the E3B is more value for money, and if you have the extra cash, the E7B is the way to go. The E5B is literally the in-between sibling between the two models.

It's great for detail for sure. I quite enjoyed it for its imaging and stage. It's not a bass heavy set of earphones, so it works very well with lighter genres of music. This deal you've got is unheard of. Are you sure you're not talking about the E3B?

E3B to E5B is a classic example of diminishing returns. If you can stretch for the E7B, however, that's a significant upgrade. The E5B isn't as enthusiastic in the lower frequencies as the E3B but has good detail recovery. It might not seem worth the investment since you already have the E3B, considering how terrific it is.

I've tested the Sennheiser CX400, and I prefer the Yamaha. The sennheiser did have more bass prominence, but the Yamaha is superior with detail recovery.

Personally, I find the E3B to be a lot more compact and easy to carry around as well as a little more comfortable than the E5B. Sound wise, the E5B is a little better detailed but even more neutral with its bass response since it has venting ports to control its bass emphasis. Very tough question, but to put it simply, expect dismissing returns. The E3B by itself is a very good performer for sound. The E5B is a little bit sharper in detail, just a little bit, and it's got a few more features. If you ask me about the E3B vs E7B, that's an easier decision to make. E7B, any day of the week.

Hi Sathish. I've heard good things about it, too, but haven't gotten my hands on it yet. I'll get in touch with them and see if I can. With regard to a lot of people comparing earphones to airpods pro, I find it to be click bait most of the time, it's something I avoid stating like "The New King" or "The New Airpod Killer". The airpods are pretty much why this industry has kicked off the way it has. They do have their perks and are superior on multiple fronts for various reasons. No doubt other earphones are now getting so good that when you look at airpods, diminishing returns is a very real thing that you do have to consider when spending your money.

That's a very good price for it, but keep in mind. It's not tuned for the masses. It's not big and bloated in the bass. It's tighter there and, in general, is focused more towards detail and a truness in delivery.
