I have a 2014 1300 Deluxe. I love the bike and have no problems with it. If you do any updates to it. The one thing you should do to it is get the ECU flashed. It's a change like night and day. The flash really wakes the bike up.

That ride is a beauty! Mine is a 2009 Tourer and runs like a charm! What I would like to see better, is the handle bar being kinda far to reach, also the floor board might work a bit forward, nothing that can not be easily fixed with aftermarket parts.
@NicePantsLance3 жыл бұрын
The current owner loves his forward control extensions and the bars tilted forward! Awesome bike 👍 thanks for watching!!

@@NicePantsLance End of the season 2 on this bike and I still like it (my first bike). In the meantime I have done some minor updates. Changed the stock bars for some HD 12" bars (perfect handles position now) and added a crash-bar, I've also tried some floorboard attached highway pegs, but I didn't like them that much, so now I'm thinking about some extensions (6 inches most likely, I'm 6ft3). Also I don't like sliding on the seat, so a small rider backrest might fix that issue. Sound-wise, I think that Cobra slip-ons might work just right.

My first cruiser is my present bike, a 2009 VStar 1300. I’m 49, 6’2” about 230 lbs. I would not want a smaller bike. I grew up on a dirt bike, never had a street bike until now. I just purchased my VStar this year. I love it. I haven’t been in a bike in 30+ years, but I took off on this beast the day I bought it like I’d never been away from them. Just like he said in the video, lots of power, comfy ride, very stable.....just don’t let it drop (like I did in my front yard🤦♂️) or you’ll feel every one of those 670 lbs.

@@DelpFan2008 thank you very much for the feedback. Awesome man. I share a similar story, although im 26, I grew up riding my friends dirt bikes.. now i want a motorcycle and a cruiser. im 5'9'' 188 pounds. Im either getting the 950 or the 1300 definitely. Its an excellent price point and like i said in my first comment the reviews look amazing. So you say just go for the 1300?? Why not i guess..

As long as you're light on the wrist and practice throttle control, then you should be fine with any size motor! If it means anything to ya, my friends told me to start small too. My first bike was a Honda Shadow 750cc and I got sick of it in a few months. Immediately upgraded to a 2018 Rocket 3 2300cc with no issue 😁 enjoy your 1300! Cheers 🍺

The 0-60 was quicker on the VStar than the CVO you rode a little while back. How does the ride compare? Which is the better bike to ride?
@NicePantsLance3 жыл бұрын
The Vstar has the perfect amount of power and torque to get a full throttle launch without any wheel spin. The CVO just wanted to spin that rear tire! Then again, I've gotten much better at launching since I rode the CVO lol All in all, the CVO is the better bike in my opinion. More features, about the same comfort as the VSTAR, more power, snappy handling, etc... However, the VSTAR is the better bike for the money $$. That CVO was $20k+ when it first came out

Actually, if you're using offset steering and powering through, the big squishy suspension pets the tires bunch up together and you can pull some ASTOUNDING low speed moves on this, floorboards be damned(or scraped to hell, 😂)! (Edit) hold on ,"HAVE TO pull in clutch"?? If you're not needing to pull the clutch, you're not seeing how well this bike can turn, JS.
