I would go propane or fuel injection. Carbs are hard to perfect.

They should have just made the rx1 fuel injection in the first place from factory carbs really that is old school but defiantly look at gap of spark but there is defiantly something not right And hell ya it's going to be a sleeper till u start it up

It sounds real rich with that sputter but it could be missing too. Check spark in all the plugs first though

Turbos and carbs. Yeah, tricky. It's (well, relatively) easy to get them running right at WOT, but usually low to medium is too rich then because too much fuel is getting dumped in. Mostly the solution to that is to tune for unboosted and add a fuel enrichtment system downstream (read: injector with boost reference controller). I notice you have a blow through setup. Are your carbs up to that? No boost leaks pushing fuel into places it shouldn't go unwanted?

Tighten the gap on the plugs...I have had that cure 100% symptems that sounded very simular on a non turbo...but yours is missing before it builds any boost...so turbo shouldnt be a factor until your up in rpm

to me sounds like a diaphragm in the carbs isn't working properly. I'd check the temp on each exhaust tube and see if there the same within reason.

Check the gap on plugs as well cuz on my 06 750 turbo fst gap needs to be tighter than a non turbo sled like I believe mine is 28 thousands or something like that and higher psi off turbo closer the gap needs to be I'm running about 20 or so maby lil less

what's your afr at should be around 14-16 and tighten up your gap on the plugs on my turbo the gap has to be tight becouse the boost will bent the spark and weeken it

Everyone is saying rich. However I didn't see tons of black smoke or the other tell tell signs of rich. However it does sound like it idles rich and leans out WAY too much under boost and bogs. Turbo and carbs can be done, its just a lot of time with jets, however you do end up with a pretty fail proof system unless the jets get dirty.

OutdoorAceZ71 i had an apex witch is the fuel injected model of this engine... if the engine runs to rich its real easy to foul plugs. I’ve fouled plugs just by starting the sled several times in the garage and not burning the fuel on them. Then the sled wil NOT start. Slap 4 new plugs and your good to go. This sounds like a bad plug or 2 to me

two stroke guys with 4stroke engines, cv carbs and turbos dont mix... that thing will never run if you dont do the proper jetting and mod the slides... the problem aint just that its bit too rich or lean... the problem is that you have a whole lot of shiny expensive parts... and not a fucking clue what you are doing...
