On my Roadstar Silverado, after the cobra exhaust , the only way to solve the backfiring was to remove the AIS. It worked like magic.

More cosmetic. The AIS is part of the factory emissions. The removal of it sheds about 5 pounds and allows you to clean up the left side of the motor if you want to remove the scoop. Removal is also supposed to help reduce deceleration backfires. Plus it is an easy first mod to do. Thanks for watching.

Hello, do you have pics or a video of what your personal warrior AIS removal looks like and where and how you relocated the fuel lines. I'm looking to eliminate the left side cover all together.. thanks

Is removal of the gas tank mandatory if you do not have the BAK Hidden Air Kit? Pinching off the gas lines and finding the front removal bolts (of the gas tank) are a P.I.A. Plus the risk of scratching the tank when removed.

Would this be the same process for a Silverado 09? After all the research I've done, this seems to be the way to go to eliminate the sputter and pop I have. Especially after installing the Cobra Long Shots. I want to do it, it seems easy, I just don't want to mess anything up and be screwed. Any pointers other than this video would be great. Thanx
