Yep, like Phil said... roll it over a few times and buckle it up to seal it properly. It works well. I've got the front hatch storage, bow storage and rear storage on my EXR and it transforms the ski. There's so much more storage now and it makes very little difference to the ergonomics of the craft. The rear storage is great - enough room to hold a proper anchor setup. I usually use it to store a Sandshark sand screw-in anchor and a Coopers (proper) anchor with 2m (7ft) chain and 6m (20ft) rope. For the front hatch storage (ie. the pod on top) I store a tow rope, about 7M (22ft roughly) with snap hooks. In the bow storage goes items that can't get wet like cameras and so on. Just got to make sure you pad them a bit when going in the surf/wave jumping. Those 3 storage options totally transform the ski.

Its a drybag and basically closes like one. once you velcro it closed, you need to roll it over itself about 3 times for it to be water tight. Cool video!!

I enjoy your videos on your EX’s. I have 2021 EXR and the glove box door barely stays on. The hinge side is the issue. I have been trying to come up with solution to retain the door if it pops off. It’s a really strange arrangement.

Thanks! We have to be super carful not to bind the door when closing. It sure tries to break on us. Hoping the next generation EX has this resolved.

Does it get hot in that compartment area, from the machine?

It can but a small flexible cooler will help if you are worried about your good/water getting hot. Best part of the bag is carrying anything half-way large can now be done like a VX or FX. EX's were not design with good storage.

yamaha really screwed up the storage capacity on these skis.

Agreed. I have a feeling that this will be rectified whenever the EX is updated. The bag is all is really needed IMO. It fits tons of stuff. Thanks for watching!
