if your by yourself and need to roll the steel winch cable back up, hook it to a tree and put the machine in nuetral. let it pull its self to the tree , that will keep tension on it and help with the cable management.

Manual says stop the machine to switch between two and four and four lock as well as switching between drive modes.
@CarGroves3 жыл бұрын
But in real life you can switch from 2h to 4h on the fly
@dwightrhodes20513 жыл бұрын
I just came back from Hatfields and McCoys. I switched in and out of 4wd on the fly for 3 days straight no problems. The drive mode only requires you to let off the throttle for a millisecond
@dwightrhodes20512 жыл бұрын
I would definitely stop to go into diff lock though

I have the RMAX 4 LE, I'm in Texas my RMAX stays about 200ish in temps. The heat is not noticable in the cab at all.

Not sure what your experience is with Polaris, but I definitely notice more heat in the Yamaha

@@CarGroves This is our first SxS, we've always had ATV's. We took our LE and did some rock crawling with it, this past weekend. Maybe we were just having too much fun, but we didn't notice any heat to mention of. The RMAX, at least where we were at, makes rock crawling almost too easy...LOL. So far a great machine and a no regret purchase.

@@CarGroves I was just at Hatfields and McCoys for 3 days and it was 80° outside. It was toasty in my Rmax4. Melted all my snacks. 🤣 The Rmax4 is my first sxs. Nothing for me to compare to but there is definitely considerable cab heat. You cannot keep water bottles in the cup holders unless you like steaming hot water. It should be good for winter riding. We'll find out.

@@dwightrhodes2051 yeah it’s a little warm, I bet some heat shielding would help a ton
