Good all around machine! Travis loved it when he had it, but as soon as the RMax came out he traded in right away lol

Bought a '23 Wolverine X4 850 XT-R in July. Having fun but not gonna do what you guys did.

Yea Travis put that X4 through it’s paces for sure!! Very reliable machine, other then occasional axle he had no issues with it

I was stuck between the wolverine and teryx. I absolutely love my teryx but you can’t go wrong with either IMO
@grizzlygreg89224 жыл бұрын
Yea, they both go hand in hand imo also. Being more of a Yamaha guy I would go that direction but that's just me being bias lol

@@grizzlygreg8922 I want a rmax when they get cheaper
@grizzlygreg89224 жыл бұрын
@@off-roadnpew2183 exactly right! I'm hoping they drop in price over next few years because Lord willing I will eventually need a 4 seater and the RMAX 4 will be my pick right now!

Im looking at getting the X2 R-spec for my wife. I think it'll be a great unit for her. Except I might mod it a bit more than Travis's X4 hehe.
@grizzlygreg89224 жыл бұрын
I bought my Highlifter about a year ago but the two models I was looking at were the X2 and Highlifter... some of me still feels like I should of stayed with Yamaha since that’s where I started. My next machine will be a Yamaha whatever it will be I don’t know yet
@780Aleks-AB4 жыл бұрын
@@grizzlygreg8922 I'm really hoping they put the 850 into the Grizzly.

If you were thinking for trail riding and reliability would you go with a wolverine x2 rspec or a RZR 900 S
@grizzlygreg89224 жыл бұрын
Being a Yamaha guy, I would be buying a X2 for sure. My brother in law has a 2018 Rzr 900s with 2000 miles and he has only needed to do oil changes and a couple wheel bearings.. so also a good machine!

What tires did he have on that bugger?
@grizzlygreg89222 жыл бұрын
In this video he was running 28’’ kenda Executioners

Is his belt snorkeled and if so how is it ran

Yea he did, He doesn’t have the machine anymore though. So I can’t go check exactly how he ran it.

Hey man, nice video. I just traded my 2016 Ranger 570 midsize in on a 2019 Grizzly 700 SE. Geared 7% lower and came with 27” zillas. I don’t care for bias tires. I am looking at the system 300’s or 310’s in a 28”. How do you think the grizz would handle them? I do 50/50 mud and trails. Thinking of a 2” lift too just for ground clearance. Also I have videos on my channel riding at Stoney Lonesome, an off-road park here in Alabama.
@grizzlygreg89224 жыл бұрын
Yes I thing the 28’’ 310s would be absolutely fine for the Grizz. I have been running 28x12x12 on every corner of my Grizz for years. Handles them fine and the 310s might be lighter then my Silverbacks.. I do have a Gold EPI secondary spring 1.5 mm shin and Grizzly 660 weights in the primary though.. Stands my Grizz up every time you hit the throttle. I do know I’m going with the 31x10x14 310s for my RZR soon as the OL2s wear down. I made that decision already lol
@silverhustlin13904 жыл бұрын
I run ITP 28" Bear Claws on my 2016 700 Grizz, I ride Hatfield and McCoy trails which are 50/50 mud rock, no lift, it handles them fine and plows through it all

im not taking a jab at this machine i actually really like them, but it seems like he's stuck a lot, would other side by sides get stuck in these holes or is it the fault of the wolverine? great action packed vid by the way.
@grizzlygreg89224 жыл бұрын
Well compared to a 1000 Rzr or Mav, no... but if you take into consideration what the X4 was manufactured for, it has done a really awesome job keeping up with the bigger bore sxs, also, I rode with him every weekend and it seems like every stuck he had I was there for lol
@01hondascott4 жыл бұрын
@@grizzlygreg8922 awesome thanks for the reply, i don't drive in anything to nasty anyway so it would do me fine for sure, i just found my way to your page and am going to check out some more videos, i actually have a 700 grizz myself i picked up brand new in 2015, I'm almost embarrassed to admit i only got about 346km on it lol, i don't get out like i used to, like my name says i have a 2001 honda foreman also and i got 19,000km on that old thing.
@shawnhanniman85973 жыл бұрын
They all get stuck more than an atv because of shear weight. And high center more times when stuck than an atv.

Look like the X4 just gets stuck all the time. Is it worth it? Didn't seem so...
@grizzlygreg89224 жыл бұрын
Well not exactly, He likes to go places where he knows he is probably not going to make it lol. Does it do as good as my RZR highlifter, well no, but depending on what your riding style is, depends on what you buy.
@joshpittman60214 жыл бұрын
In your honest opinion what machine would you buy based on comfort, power and all around use? Pioneer 1000 or the wolverine x4? Thank you
@grizzlygreg89224 жыл бұрын
I don’t know much about the pioneer 1000, I was only on one ride with a guy who had one, he beat the snot out of it and no breakdowns the entire day, but the wolverine x4 has impressed me! Especially if you take into consideration what it is meant for. I’m torn between the two honestly but since I’m more of a Yamaha guy by bias would make me pick the x4
@joshpittman60214 жыл бұрын
Grizzly Greg thanks I’ve drove the pioneer and but not the x4 and considering I can get an x4 for 13700 I’m really looking hard at it.
@grizzlygreg89224 жыл бұрын
Ummmmm yea, I forgot about the price point! YeA the X4 is more economical.. x4 does have a really nice low range also for mud, and crawling. Just lacks a little ground clearance
@shawnhanniman85973 жыл бұрын
Yes ground clearance they need to increase it on all aide by sides to go through stuff like that.
