Tyres: Michelin City Grip 2 - i use this set in my Nmax, they are rated as all-season tyres, in my experience - handling well in cold British weather conditions as well, and give some feedback from the road condition (You'll feel 'warning' slightly tyre skid before totally lost grip) plus: slightly more resistance to punctures (compare to first generation of this tyres) For daily comutee - they are my personal best.

They are really good. Just don‘t confuse them with City Grip 1 tires. They are horrible in the wet. My Xmax 300 had CG1 as standard, the rear tire always slipped first. I changed the rear to CG2 because of wear and now the front is the limiting factor. The rear never slips unless you open the throttle at full lean angle, not even in the wet.

I think it is way more than a city scoot. I sold big bike and use this. Cruise at 120kph easy. Pcx is city scoot I think. Cheers cager👍

In the US, or anywhere else where high speed motorways are concrete slabs laid after each other with gaps between them, with some higher than others, such that you repeatedly hit huge bumps at motorway speeds, these things' suspension meet their match. Badly. Motorcycles, even stiffly sprung ones like superbikes, are simply on another level, in that environment. It is possible things aren't as bad in practice as I'm making it out to be, if you don't have lower back issues to begin with. But I do, so I'm sensitive to it. And it's shockingly noticeable. I don't have much of a problem with the unified rears until speeds go above those which 125s can reach. So the me, those make more sense. Combined with a motorbike for faster, further stuff. Or a Maxi, if you're in Europe and want one for all. Of course, if your back is OK with one of these, they are amazingly competent at pretty much everything, like Cager demonstrates.

I have changed 4 bikes and 2 scooters the Last ten years All ot them around 300cc. I test drive forza 350 and some others.. I bought xmax 2021 and l think is the Best buy for 6000€. you can do a little bit of everything inside and around the city. I am going to keep it 2 or more years for sure..

I just sold my Z900. Waiting to get my 2023 xmax. Arthritis. Sue me. I had a yamaha aurex 155 in thailand. Had sooooo much fun. Im not the smallest bloke , and i was ok with the performance of the 155 around town and a little highway stuff. With twice the capacity im sure my xmax will go well enough for my riding.

So, Forza or xmax?? I have a Forza on order but delivery is a long way off, so thinking of changing my mind! I had an xmax before & it was great, even on the motorway & with a pillion. I traded it in against a Tracer 900gt. Big mistake

I have a Super Cub, and I'm looking for (additional) something that can handle the highway in America. I don't want something really big. I've got it down to either this Xmax 300 or a Honda CB500X. The Xmax has a considerably lower seat height and lower center of gravity. But the honda has more power.

The Xmax can keep a steady 80mph but you‘re basically at the limit at that point. Up to 70mph it feels very comfortable. I would go for the Honda.

You should check ADV 350 from Honda as well. Longer travelling Showa suspensions might be giving better handling.

You can remove the seat hump. Allows me to use the upper foot position at 186cm tall.
