Yamaha YUS and U1 comparison

Yes, YUS1 is a recent model, wonderful instrument, even better than the YUS in the video, My best guess is that the YUS1 use European wood after yamaha bought bosenforffer.

You can't compare a piano almost on the wall to one with all the rear pointing to a large room.... Of course, the YUS1 would be cleaner sounding, but not so much as this video suggests

You are right, the U1 I used in the video is a U10A, It's better than a U1, so the difference become smaller. Also the YUS is not a YUS1, which the YUS1 is better than a YUS.

The u1 has a brighter sharper “raw” sound which can be a bit hard on the ears. The YUS is softer and a bit more refined. You have to listen very carefully. It’s much easier to hear in person.

Thanks for the reply, as I learn more about the pianos, I think it would be better that I can actually find a U1 instead of a U10A, YUS should win U1. U10A should win U1. YUS win U10 mot very very much, so I'd better find a U1 do the video again.
