Does this kit come with templates for drilling the holes so they are evenly spaced?

Is heat an issue? On the 1st gen YXZ the rad is in the front and gets hot near the dash. Is it ok to mount the control module in the same place with the added heat?

I bought the XTC kit and my rear leds light up when I hit my brakes
