great idea about sliding the sway bar claps on the drivers side and slide them over. I went to do them the other day and saw the flywheel cover was in the way for my big hands so I just held off til I had some help. After seeing this Ill just use your idea. thanks.

Your guys videos get better and better! I will say. I felt the emotions from Doug about the stickers from his grandpa! You guys are great. Would like to know why he went dual rate and not triple like on mikes? Very interesting. .
@dougbutterfield55057 жыл бұрын
Nick is just jealous of my stickers. lol. I went dual mostly because I like Weller Racing and have confidence in their reputation. So far both setups work extremely well. We don't have enough miles on them side by side to determine which is better yet.
@nanate81907 жыл бұрын
Doug Butterfield thank you for the reply man! When you get some more miles on. And get back from the trip it would be awesome to know your thoughts on them!

SXSBlog.com 5 and a 1/4 Danielle is so lucky, bet you’re being a little modest 🍆🍆🍆. But seriously great video bought a yxz just because of Doug he’s beat the shit out of it and it keeps on going Yamahas and Honda are so tough big thumbs up 👍
@jjwatson8587 жыл бұрын
put the ads in if they make you more $$ because that means more stuff to make the wildcat great again
@dannynewman27907 жыл бұрын
nick beyond funny as hell as always and THANK F...ING GOD for no stupid s ads . question for the dough... would the spring job be any easier with the like auto zone spring compressor? and is dough the only sxsblog Guy who washes his whip before working on it hint hint wildcat motor job lol
@dougbutterfield55057 жыл бұрын
You could probably get it done with a spring compressor but I wouldn't say it would be easier. You're gonna have to adjust the preload nuts anyways, plus those things are just generally sketchy...

Did you get the shocks re valved?Did this help the rear from donkey kicking?
@charlescorbin22593 жыл бұрын
I have 2016 yxz, passenger rear is sagging by a 1/2 inch. I'm thinking bad shock, what are your thoughts.
@cristianwillemsenmladinic96474 жыл бұрын
Wich is better for rought fast wood trails???? Dual rate from weller racing or this Triple rate from Schmidty Racing? The shocks are completely stock? just spring change? Thanks soooo much. The Stock (YXZ 2016) are sooo Stiff !!!
@juanesparza3957 жыл бұрын
How does this dual rate setup compare to that triple rate setup you did on Mikes blue yxz?
@dougbutterfield55057 жыл бұрын
Too soon to tell, we haven't put enough miles on them together yet. Both seem to work really well though. We'll see if the extra money for the triple rates was worth it over the next couple months.
@TheCuttingtorch7 жыл бұрын
How much HP did that add??
@cee1695 жыл бұрын
How would you compare the Weller kit to the Schmidty triple rates?
@SXSBlog5 жыл бұрын
Pretty similar in ride quality, Weller was a little less expensive

Lads I have been trying to find something similar for a 2016 xds turbo any ideas please ?
@SXSBlog5 жыл бұрын
I think CT Raceworx is probably still the go-to suspension company on those
@tonyw29605 жыл бұрын
Thanks will look into them tried a few companies I was told that the x3 has taken over the market and sourcing parts was really hard and was told my only option was to have custom built ones from shock therapy what as you know would be super pricey thanks for the info is much appreciated
@tonyw29605 жыл бұрын
@@SXSBlog did the sway bar links make a big enough difference in handling to warrant the price? Like the blog's guys keep it up have learned how to do most of my own repairs thanks to Doug thanks
