At 55, with 30 years riding experience, I just bought my first ever scooter, and I'm absolutely loving it. I grabbed what may have been the last 2022 Zuma (BWS125) here in Canada and can't believe how freeing the ride is compared to everything else. T-shirt, shorts and even sandals😈, and away I go...yes, yes I know "Dress for the slide" Blah, Blah, Blah...I'm having too much fun to worry about that...and ain't that what riding is about.

Another great thing about scooters like this, is that you can fill it out of your generator gas cans at home. That means your generator gas never gets old, and you can stop for gas once for both applications.

Now I’m looking at estimates and saw the cost for all the parts… man am I ashamed to say I bought a used car for 3k spent 3k repairing it soon after then 3k on other repairs. And now it’s totaled. God I miss my 2013 Zuma. It was a total street slipper, sandals and everything

Brilliant video! Scooters are fantastic! This is from a man of a certain age who has ridden motorcycles for 40 plus years. *Edit: Make sure you stay until the end of this adventure for the thrilling escape. Also, I confess; it has actually been 50 plus years of riding not 40 plus. I was hesitant to give up my actual age until I saw the very end of this excellent production. Bond Lives! Cheers from Canada.

I'll keep my Zumama forever. I rip it to the beach, the panaderia, and even just get lost on our campo rutas. They're the fkn best. I hate cars cuz I'm a truck driver by trade and the Zuma125 is so sick it needs a vaccine. Great Video from one fan to another.

Hi James, Thanks for your kind words. My initial advice is to buy a small engine bike or scooter (generally up to 250cc) just to ride around on and gain experience before moving up to a bigger bike. Always wear a crash helmet and protective clothing (unlike me in the video lol!) I'd love to make a video, like you suggest!

@@34rthm4nor think about grabbing a small dirt bike or a buddy with a dirt bike to putt around in the yard to get use to balancing and braking. Hurts way less falling in grass than pavement. Also to get use to shifting if you’re going the motorcycle route. If you go scooter it’s just twist the throttle and go. Be safe out there
