For Deegan to win on a track people were considering “his worst track” says so much about this kids mindset and how much he’s improved. I never thought he was a “bad sand rider”. Most rookies struggle with Southwick the first year. Imagine how good he’ll be at the rest of the tracks. Pretty much every single track left for this season, he’s fast at. I think this recent win had to have taught him a lot though about technique, patience, managing the conditions, etc. Excited for REDDDDDBUUUDDDDD!

@@kylebeach2316 IMO, the only thing that would’ve helped him is getting to know the dirt and line choice more. That track was entirely different than their test days. Probably wouldn’t have benefited him too much. Being able to explore line choice had to have been a big help.

Yamaha - let's see a 400-500cc dual-purpose bike already. Similar to a WR250R but with more motor. You know, long maintenance interval, low vibration, comfortable seat, good stand up ergonomics, good fuel capacity, reasonably low seat height..... this market has been waiting for a Japanese bike to hit since the advent of fuel injection.

If Yamaha doesn’t pioneer a platform, then they don’t adopt it. You’ll never see yamaha copy a bike from another manufacturer like the rest do. The DRZ and EXC-F are already established and Yamaha will just focus on its innovative platforms like the CP2/3 bikes, backwards engine dirtbikes, and such. It really sucks, a 350cc bike and a dual sport would be such a hit.

Deegs would have caught them faster in moto 2 but he started to blasting the corners and not taking them like he did in the first moto. And he also shouldn't have changed his line in the second moto when he went down he should have stuck to the inside like he did all the 1st moto. Other then that he kicked ass. And JCoop Deegs and Chase need to be the MXON picks but who knows what Roger is going to do. Roger needs to retire and let someone else run the show. Last year was horrible and embarrassing for America.
