Always wondered what happened to his family including descendants today! In the west we know of those of our leaders in the military. I would have invaded Hawaii too. Japan had excellent submarine just poor use and leaders of them. They should have studied WW1 better. War faction was still in the Jutland era. Lack of naval pilots should have had more naval airfields to build that up and rotate air wings to carriers. Relying on negotiations probably was not going to work although if Japan had realized the banzai charges were a waste but more Okinawa type planning and combat may have helped of course the nuke bombs were unknown along with code breaking. Having to put up with Military and Government leaders ordering WW2 not realizing the destruction and deaths. Same Bullheads that we have now in America!
