I used to live in Japan, so some of his movements appeared to me to be uniquely Japanese. I like that he brought them into his performance. I can see people in my memories in Tokyo and Yokohama actually doing something like what he does at some moments here. Well-done and quite refreshing. Thomas Hampson`s piece is likewise surprising and pleasing. Gambatte o kudasai, Koyo!
