No idea why the KZbin algorithms threw this at me as contemporary dance and I are about as far removed from each other as it is possible to get but even I can see that this was an extraordinary performance. The balance! I could imagine the film stopping at any moment and it would look like she could hold that pose for ever. This a very very special talent.

What a superb dancer. One of the best modern dancers I have ever seen. My father was a hoofer in hollywood so I've seen more than a few. And only 18 yet so mature in her emotion and range. Bravo !

I have never seen anyone do a 6:00 penchee with body fully vertical, without at least holding their leg with their hand. [See 1:59]. Of course, I have never seen anyone move their head and abdomen that way either. Ana has raised the bar for dancers. But more importantly, her choreography and performance is breathtaking and emotionally transporting. I feel privileged and blessed to have stumbled upon this video.
