Yamamoto's death stare was much more intense in the manga, where Nanao started foaming from the mouth Also in the manga Soi Fons costume is much more revealing Yamamoto, Kyoraku, Ukitake and Unohana (4th squad captain) are the oldest captains Stealth force works in close partnership with squad 2 (which Soi Fon is a captain of)

Tons of insanely badass fights going on at the same time is kind of bleaches things. Just always tons of fights going back and forth. There are two “war” arcs so it does make sense Also Yamamoto is insanely op, his shikais strength is comparable to the sun itself. And since rukia is a young soul reaper even though she’s 150, his old age doesn’t hold him back, he gets experience and wisdom with a peak shape body

Soi fons shikai is deadly as hell but i think the reiatsu is playing a big part on it. If your reatsu is more powerful than soi fon, i guess the shikai won't work.

Slightly spoilerish, but not really!! Soi Fon's shikai is very powerful, if only she could talk less and be more accurate with it, she could have killed more than one underling with it.

Yamamotos bankai is not what you think, but it still is very strong. And yes it still has to do with fire. His shikai is called Ryujin jakka and his bankai is called zanka no tachi. His bankai may confuse you at first because all the flames from his sword disappear.

But what you dont realize is that all the flames got absorbed into the blade of his sword. Yamamotos body and sword will have the temperature of 500,000 degrees, which is hotter than the surface of the sun. Anyone that touches him will be burned to ashes as will anything he cuts on contact. He has the ability to summon an army of the dead of the people that he has killed that were burned to ashes by his zanpakuto. And slowly everything within miles will begin to dry up from the heat. Water will evaporate and plants will die. Hitsugaya cant even use his bankai around him because it will melt his. It even made kyorakus skin crack.
