what Byakuya did with his bankai, was just using different techniques the way Ichigos bankai works - instead of expanding its power, it compresses it inside users body, gaining physical abilities that his body normally wouldnt handle (kinda like Rock Lee with gates but less self-harming) now we wait for the reveal :D

These episodes are great! And yeah, Ichigo's zanpakuto is all about controlling his natural monstrous spiritual pressure. A very simple power for a very simple-minded character.

I know there are comments about Byakuya's bankai and it's abilities but i need to add some extra explanations. Zanpakuto - Senbonzakura (1000 cherry blossom trees) named by Kabuki play and poem. In the manga is white (colour of death in Japanese's culture) , in the anime pink. Sakura blooming is one's a year and in J. culture often means how short life is, and how fast it's gone. Japanese often take a break at work and watch blooming and scattering of Sakura that why Byakuyas bankai has Kageyoshi word - means watching this process or watching theatre play. Then every single technique is like Acts/episodes. Gokey - "Mawscape" all petals creat a sphere around opponent and devour him. Senkei - slaughterscape. Arena of the swords where opponent would be slaughtered. Can attack from any direction, sees every single opponent's movement. Shukei Hakuteiken - Endscape: Sword of white emperor - all power in one attack but in Ichigo fight he didn't want to kill Rukia but save, so sword felt it and scattered. Spoiler: Senkei ougi: Ikka Senjinka - slaughterscape secret technique: deadliest one bite of 1000 flowers. (Manga)

Spoiler just incase- And the people that think full hollow is plot armor, like did they not listen when white said he would taker over if ichigo were to die, and beating kenpachi when “zangetsu” said he was giving his power. Like do they think that power given accordingly to plot is plot armor?

It's literally the definition of plot armor/weapon. And that's what eventually killed bleach. People got tired of the same mechanisms Kubo couldn't stop using. A main character having all the powers possibly existing ? Come on. Shinigami, Hollow, fullbring, Quincy that's ridiculous af.

Byakuyas bankai has its main ability of just a ton of Sakura petal blades but also a shit ton of other sub abilities which makes it one of the most versatile. And tensa zangetsu just condenses ichigos spiritual pressure, it makes him faster, and his attacks stronger yet less destructive. It’s incredibly simple, though powerful and not his only power up. Also half mask ichigo is insanely op and for good reason, at that point he is the second strongest character shown in the anime, though not that powerful compared to the final arc

K Grenade in the anime white is the second strongest character: he’s stronger than transcendent aizen but still weaker than Yamamoto. Though the ranking gets way lower if you count the tybw and all the powers shown of characters already in the story at this point

His hollow within is part of his soul and power so it's just his ability like second stage of Byakuya's bankai. Ichigo was severed wounded even before bankai and he hasn't master it yet so yeah. Without hollow, Ichigo would lost but without second stage of Byakuya's bankai Byakuya would lost. If Ichigo would train his bankai longer and wasn't wounded Ichigo would defeat Byakuya without help of hollow.

Thanks for this reaction. But GD: the dub is infamous for mangling 15:57 _"You sure do suck (Byakuya 0.0) _*_Ichigo._*_ (Byakuya _*_0.0_*_ )"_ , but you somehow got a fan sub that copied the dub verbatim? It even desynced the audio pause before saying Ichigo, so there's no subs for the name -_- .
