That NC was feeling lucky after the Yamato ONLY got 4400 on his first salvo. His second salvo woke him up for a little bit then he turned and showed the other undamaged side of his ship to no avail. lol

Not in real life, she was about even with the Iowa Class BB. The reason behind this was the quality of steel used for her ammo and armour was inferior to her American counterpart. The Japanese used only steel with WW1 era metalworking techniques. US BBs had the advantage of superior metalworking techniques such as mixing steel with other metals like nickel to produce stronger armor and ammo. You can increase the durability of the armor without increasing the thickness of it, therefore making your Battleship lighter but just as tough as your counterparts. If the Montana was actually built she would have obliterated the Yamato.

I have full yamato secondary build, guys big advice don't even do it. In order to use them you have to show your broadside. Yamato showing broadside= Enemy hitting you with citadels every hits. + I feel secondary damage is mediocre its just a waste of points and modules. They need to buff secondaries because right now its pathetic..

No u don't.. Sure not all with fire but some will.. I charged a g. K. Worcester yesterday.... With yamato and instantly killed Worcester with Ap and angled towards G. K... Them a fletcher appeared on the left at 9km....secondaries took care of him in seconds.... Yeah the reversing g. K. Outdamaged me eventuelly but also only cause our Montana right behind me didn't do anything

But they can also lob shells over islands and Japanese secondaries seem to be very accurate as well. Yamato secondaries shred destroyers which pop up to close and it can start a lot of fires. I took just AFC and manual secondaries but put the rest in to survival, it works pretty well tbh.

@@BlatentlyFakeName yes, that's the point: for a secondary build in yamato you need 3 skills, a couple of modules and no more. The rest is concealment, surviving and guns reload time

@@miyabe_k195 the yamato can actually bow tank, little known fact. but your bow has to be aimed directly at the enemies. as long as they dont have 46cm guns your bow is safe. its a 32mm bow...
