​@@matthewminogue3276 I love Azael, but every time I hear him talk about how "Jojopyun was the best mid during regular season *by far*" I cringe a bit (I think it might be a bit of Canadian pride; fair enough tho). Jojo was absolutely SMURFING in the first half of the split, but he started meandering quite a bit in the latter half as his team kinda fell apart around him. I love Jojo, and love Palafox, but if we're talking full-split I think Palafox was overall better. He didn't have the high highs that Jojo did, but I think Palafox has been consistently and criminally underrated for the last several years. Still annoyed that C9 didn't have the balls to bring him up to the main team years ago.

I will give NRG the fact they play as a team and commit to plays. They executed well enough, at least they went for them. Contractz was on fire and ignar made the magic happen. Draft issues aside. Possible underestimation and under performance by G2 makes their path forward rockier than it could have been. I'm actually more excited to see NRG go out with a bang than C9 sputtering and fizzling out. I agree with Yamato that belveth is a bad pick since it's such a precision pick. Yike was set up amazingly in LEC but when things don't go perfectly I guess this is the result. Rookie growing pains aside. He doesn't feel like a carry jungler to me and more like a passenger facilitator role.

@@YamatoCannon213 Not sure I agree. What I think happened was NRG knew that G2 loves to play bot. That and knowing Belvath is in their jungle they were going to get dove. FBI took 3-4 small minions away (which is good because of xp), but more importantly poked Belvath down and stalled her camp clear. Once Belvath was so low, it is a risky dive because if Belvath dies, Vi takes her entire jungle and game is lost. And it seems that TK only lost like 5-6 creeps, which is worth to me. I am not a pro, and only D1, but I played alot of Belvath, and the #1 rule is stall her.

They had their number. Read them like a book. It really felt like NRG drafted both teams. They knew exactly what they were gonna pick. A few of the reactors I’ve seen watching the draft kept saying “wait this is a bait. What do they have prepared for this?” And “They leave the Xayah up? No this is a trap. What’s the answer for it? They don’t leave this up unless they have an answer.” Felt like a coaching diff.
