I absolutely love model kits like these. Putting them together is really fun. But I hate having to paint. The few I've done have been resin put together that all came pre colored and you'd only have to paint minor details. But I didn't even paint those cause I don't like painting that much.

Oh yeah this kit really is a “you get what you pay for” purchase. At the time when I bought it, it was only $14 (I’m sure it was cheaper at initial release), so painting was definitely needed here. I enjoyed this challenge but I definitely see where you’re coming from. What kind of kits did you build?

Do you recommend using magnifying lamp or do you have any experience with magnifying glasses ? My first time looking into these type of products to actually see the deals

This lamp is the only one I’ve tried but I really like it! Painting the mini figures would not have been possible without it. The light source on it is great. the footage you saw are 5x zoom but there’s 10x zoom if you need it. Link for the lamp I used is in the description!

I have a question since your the main reason why I’m doing this I got a banpresto cooler figure for my girlfriend and I want to repaint him to look more like his original movie colors do you have any idea what model color paints could help me achieve those colors for him?

Hm. Off the top of my head Royal purple might be a good choice. It’s a deeper purple than regular purple. Then maybe add a drop of blue or red in there if you think it’s a bit off.
