Standing up, Paul motioned with his hand and said: “Fellow Israelites and you Gentiles who worship God, listen to me! The God of the people of Israel chose our ancestors; he made the people prosper during their stay in Egypt; with mighty power he led them out of that country; for about forty years he endured their conduct in the wilderness; and he overthrew seven nations in Canaan, giving their land to his people as their inheritance. All this took about 450 years. “After this, God gave them judges until the time of Samuel the prophet. Then the people asked for a king, and he gave them Saul son of Kish, of the tribe of Benjamin, who ruled forty years. After removing Saul, he made David their king. God testified concerning him: ‘I have found David son of Jesse, a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do.’ “From this man’s descendants God has brought to Israel the Savior Jesus, as he promised. Before the coming of Jesus, John preached repentance and baptism to all the people of Israel. As John was completing his work, he said: ‘Who do you suppose I am? I am not the one you are looking for. But there is one coming after me whose sandals I am not worthy to untie.’ “Fellow children of Abraham and you God-fearing Gentiles, it is to us that this message of salvation has been sent. The people of Jerusalem and their rulers did not recognize Jesus, yet in condemning him they fulfilled the words of the prophets that are read every Sabbath. Though they found no proper ground for a death sentence, they asked Pilate to have him executed. When they had carried out all that was written about him, they took him down from the cross and laid him in a tomb. But God raised him from the dead, and for many days he was seen by those who had traveled with him from Galilee to Jerusalem. They are now his witnesses to our people. “We tell you the good news: What God promised our ancestors he has fulfilled for us, their children, by raising up Jesus. As it is written in the second Psalm: “ ‘You are my son; today I have become your father.’ God raised him from the dead so that he will never be subject to decay. As God has said, “ ‘I will give you the holy and sure blessings promised to David.’ So it is also stated elsewhere: “ ‘You will not let your holy one see decay.’ “Now when David had served God’s purpose in his own generation, he fell asleep; he was buried with his ancestors and his body decayed. But the one whom God raised from the dead did not see decay. “Therefore, my friends, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. Through him everyone who believes is set free from every sin, a justification you were not able to obtain under the law of Moses. Take care that what the prophets have said does not happen to you: “ ‘Look, you scoffers, wonder and perish, for I am going to do something in your days that you would never believe, even if someone told you.’” Acts 13:16-41 NIV bible.com/ bible/111/act.13.16-41. NIV Repent! And be baptized everyone of you, in the name of Yeshua Christ, for the forgiveness of your sins and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit!

àßhufad aggigi sumr The Bible is a reliable collection of historical events that were written by eye witnesses during the lifetime of eye witnesses they report supernatural events that took place in fulfillment of specific prophecies and claim that their writings are divine rather than human origin. “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.” Romans 1:16 “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17 KJV bible.com/1/rom.10.17.kjv The fear of the lord is beginning of knowledge. All the treasure, wisdom and knowledge is hidden in Christ. You cannot know anything at all unless you start with god You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.” John 8:32. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6 KJV

Thank you for this wonderful song from the Book of Samuel. One of my double majors for my first degree at Uni' was in Classical Hebrew which included Aramaic and also some Akkadian. I have a passion for these languages and want to thank you for this arrangement of the Hebrew which is, for me, an extremely powerful language which has such a strong spiritual connection to HaShem and a depth no other language, besides Sanskrit, comes close to. !בֵּן יִשַׁי חַי וְקַיָּם

Kyle Coughenour ...but why sing a song to a dead man?
@daveofca6 жыл бұрын
David is not dead, only to earth, but not to Christ. For without Him we are all dead, no?
@mattk67196 жыл бұрын
@@daveofca Uh....Ok, then, still why sing a song to a man dead to the Earth even if not in Christ?
@daveofca6 жыл бұрын
Matt K because David was a man after God's own heart. When you love someone and you know they loved something so deeply, it becomes easy to also love what they love. Perhaps when you get older and learn of love. Perhaps not...

@@daveofca Lol, still not seeing why anyone should sing to the dead. I loved my dead grandmother and my dead children, should I also sing songs to them?

Love love love ❤️ your beautiful music. This song has gotten into my spirit, I love the biblical verses and such wonderful musicians, and Talya's beautiful voice... Thank you for sharing your gifts with all of us. May HaShem bless you richly in every way. ❤️🥰💕
To all supporters of Israel in Canada, we hold our hands out to Yamma Ensemble, we're humble Christians but for all those in Edmonton, Calgary, and Winnipeg we're praying for your support of these talented musicians.We hope you'll find some way to support this group and support the echos that permeate our soul. We're simple people from Saskatchewan but we call on all Jews everywhere to find a place for this group in your heart. You need not think that it's some charity event because this group, they're world class and we reap the bounty of hearing this glorious music. As Christians our prayers are with you. We support Israel and our close tradition and our love for freedom. God bless Israel, God bless Canada, and God bless the USA!
