Sidney Cooke is just the worst of the worst. The case of Mark Tidlesley haunted me my entire life even before I read the full details a few years ago. Shocking that he is still alive at 97 and even more horrific than the crimes of Bellfield, Ian Brady, Peter Tobin etc.

I don’t think you can really grade the kind of crimes of the above individuals. All carried out the worst sort of violence imaginable against innocent kids and young people. But I know that Cooke man was a piece of disgusting sh1t. Poor Jason Swift was also apparently a victim of his. I remember it being on Crimewatch many years ago and it stuck in my mind because Jason was a similar age to myself. May all the victims of these monsters rest in peace. xx

I was on the train, on my way to work once and it was just me and a woman on the train carriage, who I recognised as Sarah Paynes mother. I watched an old Dispatches episodes a few weeks ago about that Cooke case , it was horrendous what they were up to they got off with light sentences. If you ask me it goes deeper than what the public knows I reckon they were part of a bigger conspiracy.
