She's not "almost" out, she WAS COMPLETELY OUT, Zhang Weili had to push her off to get up, when Yan got up which she barely could, she didn't even know where's her corner or even where she was, it's kinda stupid for Arial to ask her that question

Yan is undeniably a top-level fighter. If she can improve her interview skills and grasp the essence of self-promotion, she has the potential to become a huge star. However, regrettably, her team lacks individuals who truly comprehend this aspect. Yan's interaction with Weili has portrayed her unfavorably in Chinese social media.

After the first round, Xiaonan was unconscious. When Zhang Weili wanted to get up, Yan Xiaonan's body was pressed against her legs, so she pushed her and then she woke up, and you can see that when she got up, she didn't know where she was.

Zhang Welli first round near end 15 seconds, she saw Yan Xiaonan was choked and no response, within 13 seconds, the judge hit Yan's hand to see if she was ok, Yan lift a hand a bit to show she was ok, but 13 seconds she really had no movement, she was already passed out, but Zhange Wellid did not really know if she was ok or not, then after 13 seconds, she let Yan go, and Zhang knew if she choke to more 2nd, Yan Xiaonan would choke to death. A few professional men had demonstrated that even most of strong men can not choke more than 8-10 seconds, they could not even breath, the face would loose lot of blood. Zhang Welli is strong person on the ground, if she really wanted to choke Yan Xiaonan extremely hard, she could kill Yan Xiaonan, Xan Xioanan could not even have a chance to last 15 seconds. Zhang Weilli did not want to hit Yan Xiaonan very hard, she did not want to see more blood on another Chinese UFC female fighter.

How can you call yourself an MMA fan, but not be looking forward to this fight, it lived up to the hype, 2 CHINESE Woman fighting to be queen of chinese mma, the run ins/trash talk they've had before, the fact they've both never really been in a boring fight, the stakes were high. Yan was choked unconscious and still FOUGHT 5 ROUNDS! This girl WANTED it lol i truly think had that not happened she would have finished Zhang with Strikes. Zhang will be in trouble if she doesn't tighten up her striking again.

Also Chinese commentator explain the 2nd round, Zhang Welli hit Yan Xiaomnan at the back of her head 51:0, Yan had very little movement, judge could call the end the fight, but he did not do that. If it was other fighter and not Chinese, Zhang Welli cound hit Yan Xiaonan so hard to end the fight.

I was at UFC 300 live, and after that Max and Justin fight everyone was just out of it. It was such a hard fight to follow, and even though it had it's moments, it felt super boring at the time. I'm sure if i rewatched it today on tv it would be way more entertaining. But at that moment, in that situation? That was the longest 25 minute fight ever (still better than Rose vs Carla 2 though lol).

on one hand she did look like she was out and but on the other how many times do you see a person get choked out and walk back to their corner? Never. She clearly needs to work on her grappling though. She was doing really well against Zhang on the feet.

@Mike-um4ci 14 күн бұрын
She didn’t walk back in her own. She was assisted by the cut man helping her walk to her corner. Even the referee helped her up which he’s not supposed to touch fighters. She says she didn’t know where she was or know what her team or Uriah was saying but she knew they didn’t give her salt?

@@Bigchungus1918 we are arguing semantics at this point. Yan acknowledged herself she didn’t know what was going on, couldn’t comprehend her team and the but man had to wake her up. That’s all anyone’s needs to know that she’s done and was out. Ironically she didn’t know anything else but understood she wasn’t given salt. DC had front row in due he knew what he saw. Dana even said press conference that Yan was out. How can u argued that with clear video footage.

@Bigchungus1918 14 күн бұрын
@@Mike-um4ci You’re the one arguing semantics. She got up at the end of the round. That’s all that matters. Whether she’s “out” or remembers literally doesn’t matter. There are dozens of instances of fighters getting who survive getting rocked really bad forgetting the rest of the round or sometimes even the rest of the fight. A fighter could be snoring standing up for all I care, but as long as their body is still moving it’s game on.
