It's real interesting how the narrative changes now. Prior to 300, I imagine a lot of the UFC fans take Izzy's words at face value regarding a rematch with Pereira. With what we know now and how easy it was for Pereira to take down Hill, this sounds a lot more like bragging over a lucky turnaround in a match. I imagine Izzy knew this based on the look on his face in UFC 300. If Hill put up more of a fight Izzy might have been able to keep this narrative going, but it'll be really hard to convince people that if Izzy matches up with Pereira again he'd be able to pull off another W.
