Yanagi Or Lighter?! Which STACKED 1.3 Character Should You Prioritise?! | Zenless Zone Zero

Most likely skipping 1.3 entirely for Miyabi. If any character leading up to her is her BiS, I'll just wait for other rerun. Don't want to risk pulling for a character I don't like just for them to not work with Miyabi all because of her typing or role. That being said, I am interested in Lighter and Harumasa off of character design alone so far.

So like there’s several things either blatantly wrong or information missing from this “priority analysis”… we have known lighters full kit for a month or two now from leaks and it’s already had values adjusted bar least twice… The values of his kit and multipliers are easily available with a simple search or other resource videos… His core passive is called combustion agent. When is morale gauge reaches 80 points he enters morale eruptions state. His impact will increase by 2% and up to 20% for 6 seconds. He can also decrease an enemies fire/ice res by 15% for 30 seconds. He can also apply a debuff called rout. When rout is triggered it increases the stun window by 3 seconds buts is a hard once per trigger on each enemy. He also has his second core passive requiring an attack agent or a same faction member called fired up. When it’s active whenever lighter hits an enemy the entire party gains a stack of uplift and stacks to 20 times. Each stack increases fire and ice damage by 1% and up to 20% for 15 seconds. And finally when lighters impact is above 175 every additional 10 points of impact allow the fire and ice damage to increase up to 60%. And when his mindscape 2 is unlocked he gains a 25% daze multiplier but that requires 3 copies of him at least to benefit from… There’s no speculation when his entire kit is right here and has been out for so long… and honestly the values for everything arent that high compared to base characters like Lycaon and soukaku who increase ice damage more as a result their core passives… His daze multiplier and additional buffs are also locked behind his mindscapes so his value as a character over all is very limited… he’s actually the more niche of the two compared to yanagi and he’s more short term viability is less then yanagi… his future value might go up but we don’t have any hard confirmation on new attack characters and or fire or ice agents able to fully benefit him… Miyabi is going to be ice anomaly and one of the leaked virtual idols is said to be ether anomaly so yanagi is going to benefit for more in the coming future then lighter will… lighters team comps able to fully make his kit work are extremely limited to Ellen or soldier 11 and any other generic attack character actively hurts the team with lighters core passives losing most of their utility… And most f2p or low spenders don’t have Caesar and or burnice to meet that requirement and running piper/lucy just to activate it doesn’t synergize with the entire team or you lead dps unit its an active hinderance to the entire team as a result of trying to Jerry rig lighters kit in order to even remotely function to its potential… His value for any attack character is so limited… he’s a niche stunner whose value will see a bump over time but for rn yanagi has more value… his core passives actually hold him back compared to yanagi… yanagi is going to have the benefit of more anomaly units and her own squad members releasing soon to complement her kit and damage type compared to lighter who’s very limited with the current pool of agents.. it’s the opposite of what your actively implying… He’s actually very inflexible rn due to the limited pool of active roster agents and his kit being only beneficial to two elements and one typer of characters attribute… it’s completely false to say he benefits ANY attack attribute character cause your not actively benefiting from his damage buffs and debuffs from him niche kit… And having to slot in either two limited a rank sons of calydon members or the two a ranks on the game is really bad for his flexibility and longevity value as a niche stun unit… Lighter rn hold far less value compared to yanagi… both with the current roster and coming roster as of the next month or two that we know of.. and yanagi is more flexible as well in the coming months compared to lighter and by virtue of his niche kit and requirements… Also yanagi doesn’t need a sub dps as she can work on mono electric teams again showing her value rn is actually greater the. Lighter who’s actually the more restrictive of the two… Please try to be a little more objective and factually when telling people who to pull for…😕

As much as I hate to skip, I’ll have to this time. Miyabi is right around the corner & ZZZ has given me & many other players either a Grace, Rina, Qingyi, Anby for free, Anton, & Seth. I feel like adding Yanagi to my roster would just be unnecessary. Not saying she’s bad, just saying others take priority over her currently. The content will most likely shift back to electric, and if you’ve got at least 2 elec units, you’re chillin’ in my opinion. Not to mention, if I got Yanagi, well then I’d have to bench my Jane Doe on my Rina/Seth team, which I just can’t do.

probably chaos jazz wasnt really make for another electric anomaly, and was make for harumasa (electric attack unit) from the early leaks he seems to be kind of fielder, he could probably turn anomaly mastery in attack or give some buff like Seth to anomaly units

Uoh, lighter is extremely versatile buffing both ice and fire. Not to mention being a stunner secures him a long time value. And ORA ORA ORA

@@nguyenho5859 nah, already got lycaon to buff my ice team and koleda is the fastest stunner, would not waste poly for a slow stunner, even if ora ora is fun

Lighter as of rn is actually the opposite… he’s really limited and held back by several things… and his versatility is locked behind the fact his niche for fire and ice ATTACK characters… Being a stunner kinda loses its value when anomaly does far more burst damage and we are getting so many back to back and more to come… When Caesar can function as both a makeshift support/stunner and we can expect more to come in future the stunner role rn feels redundant with that and how heavy anomaly is being pushed… Lighters kit only fully benefits soldier 11 and or Ellen and for any other attack dps he actively hurts the team not having access to either his full kit or able to fully buff/debuff characters of a limited pool… And most people don’t have Caesar or burnice who mind you are two limited s rank characters to work around lighters limited niche kit… Being a stunner rn actually hurts him because of his niche he fills but again due to the timing and our limited roster and coming roster we know about his value is poor short term but long term he might see a bump in his value…😕

It’s funny cause Lycaon actually buffs ice damage more then lighter does… lighters pull value rn is pitiful in reality sense it’s only for Ellen or soldier 11 teams cause of his kit limitations… It’s not worth the price of the polychrome for a limited niche stunner when we already have viable options in the base game… his w engine though might be worth a pull possibly cause it buffs ice/fire critical damage for other stun characters like said Lycaon or Koleda.😏

Going for Yanagi. Have Koleda, Caesar, and Qingyi so I have the daze covered. I got Burnice and could really use an Electric DPS. Also Naginatas are bada***!

Is Yanagi good for mono electric with Qingyi and Rina?

My guess is yes, because Yanagi could cause disorder even without other elements anomaly. Plus the damage increase from Qingyo causing daze with Rina pen ratio buff could make a hyper DPS Yanagi. But I would wait and see for a few days first before deciding to pull for her.
