Good condensed guide. I’ve been farming for him before knew he’d be free since I was planning on pulling for him. It’s actually silly. I’ve played from the beginning but haven’t pulled any limited 5stars yet. Jiyan send me a Verina instead). So I have enough pulls saved for three 5stars. And now they’re giving the one I was going to pull for free. I’ll go for the weapon for sure. (Ironically Calcharo is my most built character so I doubt I’ll bench him either. Would have rather gotten some another element on the new guy but Kuro decided differently 😅)

I have 1 miatakes while preparing for Xiangli Yao, i converted all of my astrite for character currency, now i dont have any astrite for weapon lol, but i have 120 for character currency so yep, mistakes.

i think im gonna prepare for UL 60 and get my current DPS charas maxed first

Anby I think it a good F2P long term character. I have her stunning enemies completely and starting chains after just 2 skill uses. I kinda like her more than Lycon

Poor verina

Investing in supports or stun character levels is bait. Stunners don't get more impact per level and Supports barely do any damage themselves, so any damage stats they get is mostly wasted. Attackers and Anomaly are fine to invest in to level 60, because you get like 25% more damage by being level 60 instead of 50 vs lvl 70 mobs. For stunners and supporters lvl 40 is all you need. Past that don't waste your resources. Also lvl 3 core is all you need for them, because they don't benefit pretty much at all from base atk. Level 5 core could be okay, but only if your main dps chars already have it.

1:54 keep in mind though, 3.5s is a lie, and is only true for her enhanced bullets. As long as an enemy is taking damage from her field, the timer for the defense down is constantly getting refreshed, so your getting a lot longer than 3.5s of defense down from the fields.

I don't think that it's necessary for new support to give literally Zhongli shield. Take as an example of bell echo. It reduces damage taken, has hit limit, and give interruption resistence to some degree. And let's say there is a character like that. he does this via his skill or easy to fill burst. And let's say if another character take damage, he can fill up his energy and concerto. And ult heals a little maybe to balance that he cannot heal otherwise. And lastly his outro gives crit rate/damage buff. This character would be great support like Verina, and better in some situations. So you have reasons to pull for him. But this character doesn't make Verina useless. You can still choose either of them according to team or stats you have. Perfectly balanced but profitable character. And these are just buffers. We can even have debuffers. Def down, res down, slow enemy (spectro mc can do that already but I mean another character that does it better and focuses around it). All these characters can be good and make the game balanced still. But there is more important issue with supports. Supports without off-field attacks are becoming problem each passing character. It's more clear especially in Jinshi. Verina's ult helps her a lot. A support without any off-field presence gonna struggle a lot no matter how strong they are.

i would also expect a bangboo for the pd characters at some point. thats something to keep in mind. I find the bangboo specific to factions hold a bit more value than general ice, electric etc. hold on to your boopons unless theres one you really want because these are fairly difficult to get. i think the stat stick bangboos are kinda lacking. imo

Im 100% getting the first pistols healer in the game just because it means I don’t need to keep swapping my overworld team for those shooting minigames

won 50/50 back to back with ellen and zhu yuan with early sig pulls! Makes me consider qingyu now as my stun instead of lycoan for my ether team.

Interrupt protection would be OP and a good way to not power-creep Verina directly. I feel just boosting numbers would be a shame. 4*s are definitely lacking though.

Jihshi is simply too strong, too broken and too op that she made Jiyan and Changli obsolete and look very weak and useless. Really glad I pulled for her and didn't listen to the doomsayers at the time saying she is weaker than the upcoming Changli. Skipping Changli now like most people do. Now everyone who skipped Jihnsi is regretting it and crying now and on copium with Changli..

I'm legit laughing at the fact that people legit skipped Jinshi for Changli, a unit that doesn't even powercreep Jiyan lmfao

I'm definitely pulling for Zhu Yuan, skipping Qingyi even though I want her too and preparing for Jane Doe. I think I'm 16 wishes away from the guarantee. I'm trying to get Zhu Yuan's engine as well. If I hadn't put so much into Anby and Koleda already, she's an easy skip for now.
