Since Yandere’s goal is to have Senpai, there should be a moment of gameplay in which after all the rivals are gone, yandere has to finally go up to senpai or find ways of him noticing her. The end of the game should be a course of which the player has to please senpai until he actually finds interest in yandere. It’s just an idea . :)

This is my ideas to actually make them all make sense why they all falls in love to senpai Osana: We already know why she fell in love because he is her childhood best friend Amai: She falls in love because she can easily fall in love Kizana: She falls in love because Senpai became popular because of one song or maybe his just a popular model (She really cares about popularity right? Just thought about this: What if during Oka’s week, she summoned some sort of demon to protect her from being killed? You would have to join the occult club and earn knowledge points, learning how to remove her demon before killing her. Removing the demon should be increasingly difficult, taking several days to complete. Just something I thought of off the top of my head. Any thoughts?

Would having events that would only occur if a previous rival was still alive be a thing to allow more special opportunities only accessible by eliminating a rival by befriending or making them fall for someone else? I assume that one depends much like the case with stealth missions on befriend/betray situations due to assets ect.

@@cklounge2096 Yeah! Honestly it seems a bit wasteful not to be use them after spending all the time befriending them, only to have thrm basically continue to act like they never met you before. Maybe you can get a different benefit depending on which rival you befriend? Like each rival has something special about them and I think that should utilized when you befriend them, even if the benefit doesn't become apparent the next week, but maybe the week after that and so on. So for example, befriending Osana can give you tips on how to deal with Senpai's little sister later on in the game, considering that she grew up with them as well, and may know things about his sister that other people may not otherwise know, making it easier to elimate her (though I think if this method is used, I think it should contribute the most towards the befriending elimination method for the sister, since Osana would know a lot of what she would like). Also, this could trigger a cutscene of maybe Osana and Ayano (maybe Raibaru, Osana's cat because the cat is adorable, and perhaps certain rivals that had been spared up until that point, like Amai for example, who could also take this time to help Ayano in her "~Quest for True Love~ " since she did so much to help them, so more rivals spared in this method means more advice and help) having a sleepover, "bonding". Ayano can learn more about sleepovers just by overhearing other students and manga, which are mechanics that are already in the game.

@@cklounge2096 how about not completely new and unique scenes for rivals who are alive but some special scenes that would occur, perhaps not giving the player too big of an advantage but an advantage nonetheless. I think the idea is okay, and it could be amazing if it is done right, but it shouldn't be like undertale nor can it be because of undertale because of the thing that Yan-Dev mentioned a couple of times: you can't have more than an x amount of types of eliminations. But actually, yes, the idea is very good, but they shouldn't be such big of an asset to make the player go out of their way to have them later.

If I could have different things for each rival week here’s what I would add Week 3: Kizana is like one of the bully girls. She always likes gossip and social media. She would be a phone addict, and mostly do what the bully girls do. If she sees Ayano commit murder, even just by herself, she can convince everyone to back her up. This would be the same if Ayanos reputation is lower than 50% where she would pretend that she was attempted at murder by Ayano because she’s part of the drama club, she will make it sound true. If her reputation is below 0, then she will stop using her phone and become a coward. If at -100% she would stay home for half the week witch would make it harder for the player to eliminate her by gossip. Only if it’s below -200% she would stop coming to school. She’s part of the drama club, so she always has gloves on, so you can’t frame her. Even if you do her task, she will still not be friends with you. She actually never will be friends with you no matter how high your seduction is. But, since this is very hard, she has a medical condition that doesn’t let blood spill out, the incinerator is working again, and Info Chan drops are 25% less expensive. The rules would still apply like the Amai one does, where nobody can see you do it or notice anything you do. Week 4: Okka is part of the occult club, but making her a coward would just ruin all the “Stealth” aspects of the game, so maybe she could be like a less strong raiburu. Okka is part of the Occult club, so she might hold the ritual knife to fight back. She can’t really be bullied into sewer slide because she is part of the occult club, and she’s already use to bullying. That’s really it about her, nothing to special. Week 5: Well, she’s an adult. She’ll have the same defense as the normal teachers do, extensive training, so you can’t just go up and stab her. Since Senpai is ill, he’s usually always around Muja Kina. She is clumsy, though so sometimes she drops stuff. At lunch time on Monday, which would be this most convenient time to kill her, Muja would bring Senpai lunch in bed from the cafeteria, but there could be a new option where you could drop some water as a “Trap” so she would fall over and have to get it again. She is an adult, so no task and befriending, she is also heavier than normal students, so dragging and picking up would have Ayano move at 50% the normal speeds that she usually runs at when she is holding a body. Week 6: OK FIRST OF ALL WHOS IDEA WAS IT TO MAKE THIS ONE A RIVAL? It’s a great idea though. She’s trying to hit on senpai, so maybe an elimination method for her could be recording her being frisky towards senpai for the whole week and having her get arrested. Same as the Mija, she is heavier and has extensive training. Instead of dating senpai if Ayano failed to complete the week, she would kidnap him and take him for herself. I can’t really think of any more original ideas up until the final week Week 10: Megami is literally Mr Saikous daughter. She is part of the student council so she has pepper spray, Mr Saikou knows her daughter is a target, so no more phones, security cameras everywhere, metal detectors everywhere no vat of acid no incinerator no washing machine no radio no “being a delinquent” and info Chan drops are 50% more expensive. if you get caught with a raincoat then you’ll be sent to the counselor for violating school dress code.

I 100% agree that the rivals who’s week has passed should no longer be an obstacle but I find it strange that Osana, Senpais childhood best friend doesn’t even blink an eye towards him anymore, I feel like the whole standing in a corner thing would be good if the way she was still alive was because the player did the befriend method, but if she was matchmaked maybe her and her suitor could wave hi at senpai every once and a while, if she was rejected and thats how she is still alive she could show being visibly upset during amais week trying to get over the rejection and loss of her childhood bestfriend while Raibaru comforts her and when Amais week is over she’s okay again but try’s to stay away from senpai as much as she can and if she does come near him she has an awkward walking animation that shows she still feels embarrassed about that day

As interesting as the construction concept is, its a pretty overused trope for games that take place in an enclosed environment, so while it would work it wouldn't be a unique and interesting way to keep the environment ever changing. I do however REALLY like the idea of school events each week, and I think clubs should have their own events sort of unrelated to the rival during different weeks to help change things up. Like maybe during week two the gardening club is doing a campus cleanup and planting new flowers, or during week three the science club is performing an experiment behind the school, and so on and so forth. Changing student routines and school events each week is the best way to make the school feel unique without just going for the "Under Construction" trope. But the game wouldn't DECREASE in quality from the use of the construction trope, I just think that wouldn't add much because it's so common. Either way I'm sure I'll really love this game when its available for Mac :D

An idea for making the school interesting without needing to have more locations. Intro: Its always cool when there's a holiday like Halloween or Christmas that a game you play gets updated to have decorations around the area, maybe using like that opening a storage room full of props. Amai (rip if im spelling her name wrong, i have a memory problem) She could have posters and signs near her club room talking about the bake sale. Maybe having students putting up posters around the hall, so its like a new area to explore with new features. Or maybe new students from other schools coming to discus about the bake sale. Like the upcoming week, where Amai is distracted with Senpai other students in the cooking club are around the school, which gives Ayano the opportunity to sneak into the club room while Senpai and Amai talk. Mid: Kizana is similar but she opens the storage room, with props and spare tools, like the bag that you use to kill her in art. Maybe students from the drama club go around the school giving out flyers for the play. And sometimes maybe Kizana would tell him about the show, which would give Ayano another opportunity to ruin Kizana's chances. Possibly keeping the gym storage locked for Asu. End: I'm practicing to creative write this is just like a way I'm expressing it.) Theses are just ideas or small thing that may help the game rise in interest. Or giving more lively hood to the school's atmosphere. While also giving Ayano different opportunities to ruin her rivals chances of being with Senpai. Posters and signs around the school, like the posters you added give more life to the school, Im repeating my words but I don't know how to say it differently. My ideas are giving more life to the school while also adding new rooms, and decoration ideas to make the school seem for different. If you did read this to the end (I'm so sorry.) I also watched half of the video before finishing it so if you cleared some stuff up in the video i already talked about then you know why

Decorations would indeed make the school feel very different, I agree, and the new props would also make the school seem different. The idea expressed in the video would also be cool, but I think what'll end up happening is a combination of the ideas: for Amai's week there would be a bunch of bakesale stands, and one of the entrances to the school would be blocked off. I do think that the reason why you can't kill Amai could be that she has people helping her out, she is a busy girl after all. She'd frequently get her fellow clubmates to come up to her and ask for directions, carry boxes ect.. Now, I know it may not make perfect sense to make that, but it'd be fun to see all the interactions.The occult girl's week could take place during Halloween, so there could be cardboard cutouts and boxes in the halls the first few days that get replaced by decor. I think people could dress up as zombies and stuff, making Yan-chan not suspicious when she is carrying weapons if she chooses a costume before school. The reason why the occult girl couldn't be killed may be because a student council member or somebody else was asked to watch her since having a damn occult club Isn't suspicious or anything, so she'd have people watch her. The sports girl could be very fast, making her able to run away from you if you attack her, and she may also be keeping up a sports vlog or something, unsure about her. The nurse would have patients going around her, obviously, the teacher would have either papers to grade or students that would bother her. Osoro would have her delinquent squad, and the final one would have election stuff and she would be honored or smth. She'd also probably have Pepper spray like the student council. I tried to think of the school changes, but I think only Yandere Dev can truly pull that off.

I think this is pretty much in line with what YanDev has been saying about the different rivals, but here's what stands out to me: depending on what kind of run you're going for, different rivals will be either incredibly difficult or a complete cakewalk. For example, if you're going for a murder run where you straight up stab all the rivals, strong rivals like Osoro and Asu would naturally be the hardest to take out, while more unathletic rivals like Amai or Kizana would be a lot easier to overpower if you can just create an opportunity. But if you're going for a social sabotage run, Kizana and Amai would actually be pretty difficult. Kizana's beautiful and popular, and so probably has the upper hand socially. Amai's a sweetie pie who likes to give sad people cupcakes, so it might be hard to convince people that she's secretly a delinquent or something. Also, I notice that Amai (for now) is spending most of her time at a bake sale that's frequented by many students, which gives her a strong alibi in case you want to frame her for murder. I have my own pet theories about the easiest or hardest elimination methods for all the different rivals: Osana Najimi: being the game's "tutorial boss", I figure all elimination methods should be equally viable with Osana. Naturally you'll have to figure out what to do about Raibaru, but once she's out of the way, Osana herself isn't much of a challenge. Amai Odayaka: Probably can't fight back physically, but she's a huge sweetheart who likes to bake cupcakes and give them away, so if you're going for social sabotage or expulsion, that might be extra difficult. Kizana Sunobu: Very beautiful and popular and followed by an entourage, so she'd be hard to isolate for murder and probably starts with a high reputation. Again, not much of a physical threat on her own. Also, her unique elimination method probably involves a stage accident. Oka Ruto: Honestly, she strikes me as being possibly the *easiest* to eliminate, being both unathletic and part of a creepy, unpopular club. The rest of the student body seems to consider the Occult club as outcasts, so it might not be difficult to damage her reputation and get others to bully her. She's also apparently a bit of a loner when she's not with her club, so it might not be difficult to isolate her for a murder either. And unless she *actually* has occult powers, it's probably not difficult to fight her either. However, here's an idea for something to make her challenging: a sixth sense. Maybe she catches evil vibes coming off Yan-chan and purposely avoids her, and won't befriend you or listen to you. Also, she's a club leader, and probably spends a significant amount of time with her club. Asu Rito: She's a club leader, which means she probably doesn't spend much time alone, and she's athletic, so it's probably difficult (but not impossible) to fight her. That still leaves social sabotage open, however. I like to imagine you can frame her for a doping scandal. Or maybe she *actually* dopes and you can just expose her. Muja Kina: your first rival who's actually a faculty member, and therefore probably much more difficult to bully, fight, or isolate than a student. She seems a bit clueless from her video intro, though, so maybe you can use that against her. If things like needles and strong medicines go missing under her match, you could even get her fired. Mida Rana: Again a faculty member, and possibly much more cunning than Muja. Still, she behaves *very* inappropriately for a teacher, so maybe you can get her fired for that. Osoro Shidesu: She's supposed to be incredibly difficult to beat in a fight, if not outright impossible, so if you're going for a murder run, she's probably going to be a huge difficulty spike. However, she's also a delinquent who was recently suspended for a long time, so maybe expulsion and social sabotage won't be too hard. Like, if you plant a box of cigarettes in her school bag, the school counselor probably isn't going to listen to any excuses. I also like to imagine that maybe it's possible to duel her for Senpai's affection and she agrees to just leave him alone if you beat her in a boss battle. Hanako Yamada: Probably easy to kill if you can get her away from Senpai, but that's a pretty big "if". Also, Senpai might stick up for her if you try to damage her reputation or bully her. I feel like the easiest route with Hanako might actually be to befriend her. Even if she might have a brother complex, she probably realizes that Senpai is going to get married and start a family of his own at *some* point, so maybe if she likes you enough, she'll actually approve of you going out with Senpai. Megami Saiko: Complete final boss material. She'll kick your ass in a fight, she has a huge security detail, her status as student body president makes her more or less immune to bullying and smack talk. She's probably too smart to leave her stuff unattended for you to sneak panty shots onto her phone and cigarettes into her bag, and even if you did, can she even be expelled? She's implied to already know what Yan-chan is like, so befriending seems unlikely, unless maybe you've been playing a complete pacifist up to this point. Also, mini-theory: I think Megami might be a lesbian. She's the only rival who doesn't blush at Senpai or give him any declaration of love in the rival introduction video, and in the story focus student council video, apparently it's rumored that Megami dislikes men. That would throw matchmaking out the window, unless she has a female suitor. So how would eliminating Megami even be possible? One, she comes at the end of the game, and at this point Yan-chan probably has crazy high stats and a ton of credit with Info-Chan. Two, at least one of her student council members is implied to have a grudge against her, so maybe you can exploit weaknesses within the group, especially if you join the student council yourself. Three, if my mini-theory is correct and Megami prefers girls, maybe she'll just let you have Senpai if you've been playing as a pacifist and broken no rules, therefore making her think she was wrong about you. Four, maybe for a unique elimination method you could expose Saiko corp as being involved in something shady.

I feel like having Amai walk in to school talking to someone would be helpful so you can't just giggle around a corner and separate her from everyone else at the entrance of the school. Having a student council member or the Gym teacher out in the bake sale to make sure nobody steals anything could also be helpful in making sure there is a genuinely threatening witness that you would have to deal with.

From the knowledge of the rivals we currently have, this is how I would eliminate them and why: Osana: Rejection I would use the rejection elimination because I believe Yan Dev said that based on how you eliminate the rivals, Megami would be more or less suspicious of you when she arrives. So using the rejection elimination provided will cause less suspicion. Amai: Poision If the bake sale does happen, then she would most likely eat her lunch at the fountain, to still be near the bake sale. I would make a stink bomb, use it at the bake sale to get her and the cooking club away from the food, and then use lethal poison on her food. I would still do this if the bake sale does not happen. Kizana: Befriend Or Ruin Reputation I love Kizana so I would just befriend her. Although, if she doesn’t have a major problem like Osana or Kokona, I would ruin her reputation. Since she is a total snob, you could use that to your advantage and lower her reputation to the point where she would drop out of school. Oka: Befriend Or Expel I’m sorry but Jay got be tied to Oka so I wouldn’t kill her at all. But like I said with Kizana, if she doesn’t have a befriend or betray method, I would expel her. I would use the expelling elimination, and it would make more sense for Oka to be bringing in condoms, alcohol, etc since the Occult Club has a bad reputation. Asu: Ruin Reputation Or Murder If the sporting event does happen, ruining her reputation could get her disqualified or even make her drop out of school. Killing her in that event would be too difficult, since she would most likely be either training with her club mates, or doing the actual event. If that doesn’t happen, I would kill her and frame the substitute sports club leader. Think of it from the witness POV: Asu comes back, substitute club leader kills her over possible jealously? He clearly likes the power he has over his club mates, so having that taken away from him would make him jealous. Muja: Break Mind I’m thinking of using Muja to eliminate Mida. Think of it, two teachers fall in love with the same student, of course it would become a competition. Sure, they arrive one week apart, but you could kidnap Muja, break her mind, then bring her in to kill Mida. It would look like pure jealousy! They both have huge breasts, so Muja could see herself as insecure and want to get rid of Mida to the outside world. Mida: Mindslave I’ve already explained Mida’s elimination with Muja, but I would probably bring Muja in on Tuesday or Wednesday to make it more believable. To the outside world, she could see the students talking about Mida on social media and get jealous. Osoro: Ruin Reputation Or Get Arrested Osoro already has a reputation as a delinquent so ruining it more wouldn’t be too hard. If you were having trouble though you could just sneak some narcotics into her bag and then tell the counsellor. Although based on the other delinquents’ backstories, Genka might not be there since she would be fired. So there might have to be an extra task to help transform the delinquents back to normal. Hanako: Bully Being overly attached to Taro, especially with Musume and her friends around would gain attention. You could lower her reputation with rumours and then the bullies would just to their thing. She would hate going to school and drop out, and then she won’t be in your way at school. Megami: Befriend I can’t think of any other way to eliminate her that wouldn’t end with you getting arrested. She’s obviously gonna be protected, she’s gonna have too high of a reputation to take down in one week, and you can’t break her mind without being seen. She’ll also have admirers most likely, she school president. Having a high reputation and befriending her would be perfect. She would most likely have a stalker or two, or someone blackmailing her for money since she’s the richest girl in school. Getting rid of those people would lead Megami to believe you’re not like Ryoba, and have her as an ally. Sorry for it being so long 😅. If you think there are any flaws in my methods please let me know, also let me know how you would eliminate every rival😁 (Also, I would do all of this while being in the Drama Club. I would use my second method from Asu on Kizana, but I don’t have YanSim yet so idk how it would work with 6 members and a dead club leader, idk if someone would get promoted or not)

I think the concept of each rival having the school change to fit that character makes a lot more sense then random scaffolding and makes it feel more like a real school oh and where students change in where they hang out can be based on the change the school under goes for each rivals week like for the cook more people will hang at places with food being given out like near the cafeteria or on random benches.

I can imagine if you befriend your rivals you can have a "Best Ending", you have Senpai, you have a good reputation, a group of friends around you, maybe a cutscene at the end that shows Ayano holding a picture of all the rivals and her on the last day of school. Suddenly a drop of 'water" drops onto the picture, there's sniffing and stifled sobs being heard. The camera pans up and shows Ayano smiling while tears run down her face, she's realized that she's made friends, genuine ones beyond tools or obstacles to get to Senpai. Her mother and father rush in to see why she's crying and Ayano says "I'm so happy..!" While being hugged by her family This is highly unlikely but I think it'd be a cute secret if a player decides to choose the Befriend option for them Edit: plot twist she discovers platonic love is just as valid as romantic love

One question: what prevents you from killing a future rival on previous weeks? I know someone who doesn't know anything about the game wouldn't see them as a threat, but yandere could kill them by mistake. I think that because amai is the leader of the cooking club, she should be able to notice if ayano has messed with her food. Also that if ayano tries to give her chips she will refuse because she isnt hungry because she eats a lot in the club. Also, I think it would be cool if certain characters (the nurse and amai/ others) could notice a weapon is missing. Like the nurse notices a syringe missing and every student gets searched. Kizana would notice a prop missing, amai notices the knife gone from the cooking room, etc. It would limit the weapon you can use each week.

I have an idea for Kizana’s elimination! I don’t really know, but it might have came from somewhere else, I don’t remember it. So you join the drama club, and then suggest them to do a play where Kizana gets a role who dies in the play, by stabbing. Next, on the day of the play, you replace the prop with an actual weapon, so Kizana dies from getting stabbed.

I think that Amai’s rival specific elimination should be like this: Amai loves strawberry short cake but she is allergic to something in order to find out what she is allergic to Ayano can either find out via info chan or by eavesdropping on a conversation that Amai will have with the rest of the club during club time then Ayano will have to boost her “cooking” ability in order to bake a strawberry short cake that doesn’t look like it has any ingredients that Amais allergic to then Ayano will have to splash Amai with water and steal her Epi pen without Amai even noticing it was gone (because she wouldn’t take any random food if she knew her epi pen was gone ) or replacing it with a fake epi pen that you’ll have to buy or get from info chan and Ayano will have to steal Amai’s lunch so she will take the food then she will get poisoned and die If it sounds to hard I’m sorry also the reason it’s strawberry short cake is because you’d have to be pretty skilled in order to make a pretty good strawberry shortcake which would make more sense for Ayanos cooking skill to be at rank 1

Since "the Amai challenge" is not the real deal, she doesn't have her own specific task yet and unlike Osana, she'll follow you if you ask her to. Right now all you need to do is complete Amai's task, ask her to follow you and lead her somewhere private. With the new garbage bags you can wrap her body in one and run around the school to dispose of her body. Then you get rid of the knife, your clothing, etc. Congratulations, you have completed "the Amai challenge".

It would be cool if you need to do small things to get senpai to notice you, instead of after eliminating all of the rivals and then putting a note or something in senpai's locker to meet him at the tree, each week you have to do something. There could even be a thing where it shows what senpai thinks of you. If you get it very high, it'll be a higher chance senpai will actually come to the tree. If it's low, he'll ignore the letter because apparently he has something to do. Alsooo like in kubz scouts' video. Another rival could be budo. And if you loose, at the end they both grab each others azzez and walk off into the sunset.

Some ideas for events/locations to keep things fresh - A school trip. This is pretty much a staple in anime and games. Would give access to a new location and new elimination methods. Also the location could be atmosphere based, opting for safer/shorter trips during low atmosphere etc. - A culture festival. Change the school's appearance, and introduce new events, obstacles and opportunities. Also we could see the club leaders do something else from their usual routine. - This is just in Muja Kina's case but I was thinking on her week a health examination could take place for example. Keep up the good work and don't mind the hienas. This is gonna be a great game.

Similar to Osana’s drowning in the pool elimination maybe each rival could have a similar elimination method. Ideas. Amai could be baking cupcakes in the cooking room,on like Wednesday,and when she goes to the oven to bake them,you could shove her inside and burn her alive. To do this you’ll need to befriend each cooking club member and get them to leave the club room or kill them.Then you need to make sure the student council members dont see you.Especially Akane for she checks the club rooms,Yandere vision is helpful here. Cutscene on Wednesday could be something like: Amai and Senpai are walking towards school and Amai has a bag full of ingredients. S-“Amai isn’t that heavy for you?” A-“Well it isn’t that heavy i’ve gotten used to the weight of ingredients,plus I’m willing to take a bit of suffering to make my schoolmates happy!” S-“I see i can help carry some stuff if you want?” A-“Aww thank you Senpai” A-“Hey…Senpai I’ve been meaning to ask what other types of food should i start selling?” S-“Well i think brownies are nice,my sister and i always liked them” A-“In that case I’ll make you some today!” S-“Amai you dont have to go out of your way to make them for me” A-“No,no,i insist,I’ll make you some brownies today we can have them at lunch” S-“Alright if you say so” Kizana could be preforming on stage on,say Friday,and while shes getting ready she puts on flammable makeup.You can injure her by using a match and tossing it onto her during her performance or by pouring gasoline on her you can kill her.If you injured her she’ll go to the infirmary you need the nurse to be away when she is there,wait till class and murder her.To do this you need matches and if you want to kill you need a bucket of gasoline.You also need to wear a mask and a black outfit from backstage to pull it off easier,if done wrong you can get an apprehended ending or heartbroken ending if senpai sees you.If you injured her you need to be careful Yandere vision is helpful here incase you killed her as soon as most students left to class you need to avoid the delinquents. Hey Yan Dev, I have come here to propose an idea for the drama rivals week. What if the way she’d confess to senpai at the end of the week was a giant play where at the end she’d confess her love through a speech. So this would mean the whole 5 day week would be preparing for the music and yan-chan would be helping the drama club the entire week for volunteer work. This would give the player a different environment and more theater based schemes and eliminations. Maybe even yan-Chan could play a role in the play as a part of one of the methods. (Kinda like how we had to go on a stealth mission for Osana) These are just some of my ideas! You inspire me so much and I hope u see this 😣🤞

So, if Hanako is sooo attached to her brother and won't leave his side, there could be a moment when she is vulnerable. Like at night when they are both asleep or that Taro would wait for Hanako outside of the house. Or instead of killing her, you could gain her trust by spending time with and reassuring her that Taro would never forget his sis if he got a girlfriend. Also, with Amais bake-sale, wouldn’t it be cool if yan-chan could somehow sabotage the sweets to make students sick? It could make her reputation to drop so low that it causes her to leave the school or disband the cooking club

This comment needs way more upvotes, seasonal change is a fantastic element that should definitely feature in game play. Like in fall and winter students might wear heavy coats outside, but in summer they might be wearing the short sleeved version of their uniforms with jacket tied at the waist-- the game's current start has a very 'springtime' atmosphere and it along with the students current attire fits that season well.

Also since "entering" the school every other week seems strange for 6 different student, for those who have not a good "explanation" there is another thing: Yandere simply can't care of others if they do not interfere or if they are not useful. Her classmates and senpai classmates will be of interest of her, and clubs may be into the "useful" part, but not the other students. The other rivals can be from other classes, and they simply become something more detailed when they start becoming a treat. So from the "generic pink 3d model" to "a person with distinct features"

Another really easy way might be adding clear environmental passing of time. Include different times of year between each week rather than it seemingly happening in the span of 10 consecutive weeks. This could also introduce more room for story progression. After the rival is eliminated maybe we get a cutscene of the aftermath. Indication of how it changes the game, meeting with infochan for information, the investigator/ Ayano’s mom storyline, her father’s storyline, following senpai home and seeing why ayano likes him making him less bland as it gives him personality. We could have different seasons, holidays, traditions, etc. like annual cherry blossom viewing as an event which can help win over senpai in the end or something. Being his secret Santa,participating in school events like a snowball fight. That could be innocent fun which boosts your reputation and makes senpai see you as a girl who likes to have fun, or you could swap a certain character’s snowball with a snow covered rock ball making them kill your rival or another person. After this students wouldn’t want to play the game anymore. You’d have to tamper with the snowballs when no one saw otherwise after the person is declared dead the students would point fingers at each other eventually naming you. Seeing you tampering with it. If you have a bad reputation they’ll all believe it and go to tell the teacher and maybe try to fight you causing a game over if you lose. Some will crowd around the body to protect it. If you have a medium reputation some will believe you’re innocent and some guilty, some will run to tell the teacher whilst others crowd around the body to protect it and the crime scene as before. And will tell you to not leave till the teacher gets there, if you do some will chase after you thinking you’re now guilty. If you have a good rep they’ll either say it was an accident if you and the student who threw it have a good rep, or they killed her on purpose if the student who threw it has a bad rep. Some will run to tell a teacher, door will guard the body. They won’t stop you from leaving but will suggest you stay as you’re a witness. I think this same logic could apply in other eliminations too which could help reinforce the “stealth” method. On top of social butterflies, people on their phones or with cameras, people who have high physical strength fighting you, crowds, etc, if someone spots you tampering with something which later causes someone else to die they’ll remember it accusing you. Depending on your reputation will indicate how everything proceeds. If you have a bad rep they’ll believe it and take you down, if it’s medium they’ll be more uncertain declaring you 100% guilty if you try and flee, if you have a good rep they’ll believe you couldn’t possibly have done it (further pushing the “good girl” two sided yandere narrative). If you have a perfect rep they may reprimand the person who accused you calling them a liar, as everyone knows you’d *never* do something like this. This could be pushed even further if you have lots of friends in game, they’d immediately come to your defence with various consequences. If you’re friends with the delinquents for example, you have to trace a low rep, they may immediately come to your defence and beat up your accuser, scaring them into silence if the crowd is small enough. If you’re friends with random students not really any clique in particular they may defend you pleading your case. If you’re in the student council they’d take care of it for you, questioning you for themselves later, in which case if they will have very good investigative skills and interrogate you. If you answer incorrectly it’ll result in a game over. They may make you recount your steps of the day based on what the security cameras, themselves, or eyewitnesses saw. How you ended up in what time and place. Etc. depending on their trust level in you the questions will be harder for low trust, and easier for high trust. Which gets higher or lower each day/week showing story progression. Maybe we can be able to pin memories to the cork board in ayano’s room showing the different events she was in with senpai. Festivals, school events, town events, used things she’s found of his, etc. I think maybe bonding with senpai as well. In the beginning of the game it’s “easier” to bond with him if ayano can get over her pink intense emotion creepy thing she does when she gets near him. Over time from exposure it could get less and less the more she bonds with him. Making them closer and making him like ayano in a more natural way than the typical murderous stuff. However if he notices she’s always at the centre of disasters maybe he’ll start to avoid ayano making her pink intense emotion thing come back making it harder for her to bond without freaking him out more. This also means during naturally occurring events ayano will not be able to bond with senpai creating memories with him. And it will be increasingly difficult to win his trust back as he will believe ayano to be anywhere from odd and uncomfortable to be around, to very dangerous afraid of her.

Rival specific eliminations: Amai - Putting disgusting ingredients in her sweets, making her withdraw from Akademi. Kizana - Cutting the rope that is hanging a sandbag, making the sandbag land on Kizana. Oka - Having the demon backfire on her. Asu - Throwing a baseball at her head. You can only do this WHILE she is running. Muja - Making her slip and have her landing on a syringe. Mida - Throw and apple on her head in Taro's class with no one noticing you. Osoro - Kick her into the incinerator and turn it on without the delinquents or Genka noticing, as Genka will be out trying to reform the delinquents. Genka will have a taser. Hanako - Send her on a vacation, convincing her that in will be Taro's class field trip. Megami - Ruin Saikou Corp.

Basically, I agree it’s a good idea but not everybody should go. Instead, most students except the most difficult should stay back for reasons such as investigating the matter, patrolling the school for lingerers and/or investigating aswell or for lingering around the school as they don’t want to go to the hall for whatever reason.

Regarding the school environment, it would be odd for a student not in a particular club or class to enter those rooms. If you're not in the class, there's no reason to enter the classroom unless you're friends with a student inside. As a student, there's not free access to music rooms or chemistry rooms, or similar. They're usually locked unless the student is allowed inside or with a teacher. Plus, with the chemistry classroom it's more difficult because of the dangerous chemicals inside, meaning the teachers wouldn't necessarily allow students inside without a supervisor. Maybe that could be a thing when closing off some of the school or making the map different?

I acctually have an idea for Khazana and how to make her harder to eliminate. What if there was gonna be a play on Friday, and on Monday the drama club would be handing out flyers to everyone around the school, including the rivle, on Tusday they would be hanging up posters on the play, on Wendsday they would be rehearsing the play, on Thrusday I was think that, instead of working on the play, Khazana would have a normal schedule, then get into an argument with Kohcona (sorry if I spelled that wrong ;-;) about her hair, attracting many people. Then on Friday, if you have not taken Khazana down yet, the play would be near the end of school where are the player could sneek into the backstage and posibly have a unique elimination method. I feel like a rival specific elimination for oka would be by provoking one of the basu sisters to the point where they show there “demon form” (maybe inkyu because of how reckless she is) if just getting inkyu to kill oka by beating her to death and see sakyu help her get away with it One for asu would be drugging her water or just making her run to death (you could do this my increasing ayanos physical education to it’s fullest extent) The punishment for asus elimination would be the sports club will be shut down and they won’t run on the track and run to an inconvenient spot for the player

IDEA: when a player eliminates a rival/ character, a short cut scene of the murder should play. it should appeal rather disturbing due to the school atmosphere appealing cute and the murder is of course not supposed to be cute, so the combination of both will be rather eerie. i also understand that the game is still under development but I feel that the school and the characters and the game in general should be semi-realistic but still having the classic anime appeal (if that makes sense). I feel that the game will make a lot of progress and will have a great outcome and I appreciate that you’re working on game play features rather than general appearance but eventually I think nice shaders should be added and the textures should be adjusted. of course I’m sure you’re working on something already but just for an update for the visual of the game, that’s my quick suggestion. I think a, ‘realistic anime,’ style of game would be perfect for Yandere Simulator! Maybe the characters should look more their age, (Eg. Ayano is like, 17/18 years old, but my first guess would be she’s 14.) And Maybe some should have more defining features, (Eg. Sharper jawlines, some taller, some shorter, some are really skinny, some more chubby, some really fit, some just average.) but I like your ideas very much!

During the last rival's week, there should be an increase in security. It would only make since if over time after eliminating different rival's (if done in a violent way) there would be police on campus or something similar. And since it is hinted at that the student council knows about a yandere at the school, there would likely be a fundraiser for (say) metal detectors and such, that would be implemented later in the game. (There could even be a little challenge where you have to disrupt the fundraiser in some way to stop them from gaining different amounts of money for different protections.)

I‘m assuming Mida Rana and Muja Kina are going to know Self-defense when their weeks will come out as they are literally part of the academy Highschool faculty which might also be something that might prevent them from being eliminated way to easily. Also wouldn’t it be cool if during Muja‘s week the school will host a five day health inspection to see if all of the students are in health, while Mida‘s week might be a five day teacher conference to discuss the most recent events that might have happened at Academy and the school‘s future, with teachers almost always patrolling the hallways and rooms to search for any useful information they could get to present at the teacher conference. Just an idea.
