Saw a video of Yang Zhenduo doing brush knee a little differently. The timing is a little different-Yang Zhenduo doesn't step until the hands are ready, whereas Yang Jun steps out to coincide with the hands locking in place... his "white crane spreads wings" looks slightly different from the one shown in the beijing 24 forms, why is there a difference??? and the brush knee is also different! now I feel like all I've been doing is wrong!

This form is older than the 24 form, and the Yang Family was not involved in the 24 form creation. So, they are different. One isn't right and the other wrong.

Oh, I see... Since the Beijing 24 is based on the Yang style, the Yang family should've been involved, I think. Anyway, thanks very much for clarifying. I'll just incorporate what I learned from the original forms into the Beijing 24 so at least there's some authenticity to my moves :)
