One thing I notice when watching your demonstrations, YangYang: you never take your eyes off the ball, ever. Your eyes are glued to the ball. Such a simple thing, but so hard to do consistently!

Agree , backhand block is always a surprise to the opponent , because of the difficulty to learn/master it ...often neglected = loose points !

You do look everything as easy, but this is really hard for me. I train so much I can and for me is not so easy like I see in your videos. Thank you so much for the videos, they really help me to learn more and better than in other Channels. I would like if you find more time for it. I recommend to buy a microphone, when you are long from the camera your voice is so light. With a normal microphone would be ok, after maybe will need to clean the sounds but also happend with expensive microphones. Thanks again. I send you a very big hug from Frankfurt.

should you try to let the ball sink in deep and hit the wood or should you only let the ball hit into the sponge or rubber?

Great video as always, yangyang. I have two suggestions. 1-Make a video about how to develop spin during the serve. I don't know if it's mi racket (a cheap one) or my wrist but i can't develop a strong spin. 2-Make a video on how to get more power on every shot. For instance, whenever i make a strong backhand topspin, the ball misses the table. Hence, my backhand topspin is usually weak.

ilsaltimbanqui Hey, get a better racket with a good spin surface as I did and it suddenly got loads easier, however, you then have to develop better control and accuracy or it will go all over the place ; )

Nice video yangyang! Thank you. Can you post a video of a non-serious 11-point game between you and a tricky player? Because if you provide video commentary of your thought process when playing the match, it will help a lot of people like me who can hit ball accurately when training, but cannot repeat the same accuracy during games. e.g. when you are down 1-3, what are you thinking? What if you missed some easy forehand shots that you always get in the past? Do you keep using forehand? etc. I think that video will get a lot of views, because a lot of people struggle from the same problem. All the online training videos repeat the same basic stroke information, but almost no training video teaches "what players should think" in the middle of real games. A video like that is unique on youtube, and will get lots of views!

小姐姐,砍式的不转的发球,我怎么回过去比较好,我反手一用力摁就飞……正手一碰就出台,很邪门,我都知道是强烈的侧上半出台球或者短球,但是还是飞。扫挑也飞

Yangyang's backhand flicks, as easy as playing tricks. Raise her hand, touch the ball. It flies and hit the table like magic. If you do it correctly, she will will share with you the chicken she make!

I like most of your video's but this one not so much. Please show more actual technique at the table rather than walking around the house. Anyway your channel is very good, just hoping it wont take to much of a bad direction for the future :-)

haha, thanks for letting me know your feeling. The reasons I did that is because the room I usually shoot my video has echo, and my microphone haven't arrived yet. Besides, I want to try something new to make the video doesn't look boring. Anyway, I will consider your advice~thanks again.

This video is not as good as others. The environment or background is distractive and not table tennis focused. Should add more technical contents, like The Difference among BH block, BH Drive, & BH topspin, and give examples: BH block in real tournaments, etc.
