We loved our Route 66 vacation we took back in August. Tucumcari was one our favorite stops. We didn't get to stay in Blue Swallow no vacancy. However we stayed just down the street at the Roadrunner. Loved it. Your video brings back a lot of great memories as well. Enjoy the rest of traveling The Mother Road.

I love all of the neon lights. Bring back some old memories from when I was a little girl. I'm glad you mentioned that the motel room smelt nice and clean , because I was going to ask you what it smelt like in there. lol !! I've always been so picky about things like that. 😁😉👍 Ya'll are too cute !! I loved getting to see Cadillac ranch and I loved the Cadillacs that had Elvis, John Wayne, and Willie Nelson in them too. We stayed at The Blue Swallow in June 2021. They are awesome people. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend it. Love your trip down Rt 66.

Hi Will & Dawn! i've been waiting to see the neon lights at night! really enjoyed it. the Blue Swallow Motel was very quaint & cute. the bedspread is called chenille (pronounced sha-neel). everyone had one back in the day. those nachos looked so good Will. made me hungry for some. looks like you're having pretty good weather. half way there! stay safe & have fun!
