Glad you guys got to see the Grand Canyon for the first time. Thanks for sharing with us. It was great to see the awe and wonder in your faces. When my husband and I went out there we were only able to spend about 8 hours there too. I made him stay until there was nothing left to photograph of the sunset. Can't wait for the day we can go back!

When my son was playing travel baseball we would play the team in Kingman, and always in the dead of summer. I asked a couple of the boys when they practiced, and they said they would start at 9 PM when it was cooler 105 degrees. I can't explain in a comment on how hardened, and tough these kids were. Route 66 takes you from Kingman high into the mountains where it drops 15 to 20 degrees then into Oatman, and Bullhead. Great video very well edited. BTW Dawn was right several motherlodes were discovered off route 66.

A Friend & I was in Arizona this time last year for a whole Week working on a Mission Trip for a Church! Then the Friend & I went up threw Utah saw the ARCHES, then went up to Wyoming threw South Dakota and went threw the Yellowstone National Park! Traveled a total to 2 Weeks!

Hi Will and Dawn! I ate at that same McDonald's when I went to the Grand Canyon. I did not realize how expensive it was until after I ordered. The real kicker is that the restaurants inside the Grand Canyon on the South Rim were much more affordable and better quality food! I wish I had known. It is what I remember when I think about my trip to Grand Canyon. Loved this video.

I've never been there at least not yet but absolutely beautiful . i heard pictures doesn't do the grand Canyon Justice. I still love the greenery of the smokies and for McDonald's the price should be the same as all the franchises🙆 but in the middle of nowhere i guess they can charge that. But their is no place like the great smokies😁👍👍

My sister and I travel together because our husbands don't like going anywhere. Y'all are taking the same route we took back in late May into early June. We got to see the Grand Canyon, didn't know if it was going to be open or not but the lady at the visitors center in Kingman told us it would be open the next morning. It was nice too, there might have been a total of 20 people there the whole time we were there. Did y'all see the begging squirrels? They were so cute, they literally begged for food, putting their little paws together. We saw an elk just as we were coming into the park and saw Bigfoot (really, we saw him) when we left the park. We stopped to take our picture with Bigfoot. You were talking about how expensive McDonald's was, 3 of us ate breakfast at Rock Springs Cafe in Black Canyon City, Az for $60 bucks and it wasn't that great! Can't wait to see where y'all go next!!

WOW!! I’ve got to give me a rest for a sec. The road trip was wonderful. Kingman and Seligman were great. Learned a lot of stuff about Route 66. And Lake Mead was nice, too. Now, it’s the Grand Canyon. Words can’t describe the canyon. All you say is it is AWESOME!!! And to think that no man has done anything. It’s God’s work. It’s so big, too. You 4 did great in checking out the canyon. I can’t wait for the next video. Couple of things I have to say. One is Will, you were saying that it’s 108 at Lake Mead and you never see temps like that at the Smokies. Well, the entire east coast in going thru a major heat wave. Temps in the 90s and a few places were over 100 degrees. The other is $50 dollars for McDonalds? Are you kidding me? Well you are at the Grand Canyon, so I guess that’s why the prices are astronomical!!! Glad you’re back home safe and sound. Talk with you later. 🙂😉😲
