To be fair to J.D Davis he’s been batting 293 over his last 15 games along with 2 HRs in that time span which is half of his home runs this year so he’s trending in a good direction but do I think this was a good move not really I think since they are going for a World Series run it would have been better to get somebody with a little more offensive capabilities

@@pwx13 Jones is still a work in progress I’m sure that Jones is going to be pivotal in the Yankees long term strategy but he’s batting something like .241 with 6 HRs this year in the minor leagues so I’m not sure that bringing up Jones at this point wouldn’t be a band aid kind of move either

@junbafiles5316 there is physically nothing the yanks can do, they are broken right now. The first half was smoke and mirrors. I almost feel like they should have traded Jones earlier to get someone elite. They should have tried to get Luis Arraez. I think this team has too many holes in the pitching staff and lineup to make a run

Trade was a waist but who knows we are back on track with injuries same old cplayers. If DJ plays a lot he will be next. Rizzo torres Dj and couple bullpen players have to go. At the break we need to Push hard to get Miller from A’s and a solid lefty arm plus another big bat for 3B or 1B

We have witnessed the rise of the New York Yankees. Now we are witnessing the fall of the New York Yankees. Makes me so sad and sick at the same time. We have lost like 4 or 5 straight series in a row. Hopefully we get stronger so as to still make the playoffs. Maybe we will be healthy by that time. Yankees need real help at Third Base, First Base, Second Base and at DH.
