I think Kerber is his masterpiece, and I love that the album, a mixture between piano and electronics, can be taken on its own or taken as a solo piano album, and now here you have primarily the electronic portion of the album without the piano. The pieces are just so inexhaustibly lovely.

These live versions kinda sound better then album ones. Much more powerful and crisp sound. Like it! It also amazing to hear composition from old albums in the new electronic arrangement. If you know his discography well, you can hear good old Yann melodies in these new style :)

For those unfamiliar to Yann Tiersen and synth ain't your jam. He is a brilliant pianist and violinist, he also slays the accordion among other instruments. I highly recommend checking out his other work before writing him off based on this.

Sounds like you think his new stuff is not good or something. His latest work is beautiful, the sampling and incorporations of synths are incredible and definitely sounds like him. He is not just piano and violin which is good

His music has been so incredible for me and lots of people i know…. Today we went to see him with his new show. While we bought the tickets in the pre-Corona Time for his old show. Sorry but this was bad. Really bad. People just started going home. The place was almost empty when i left. Yann, I’m looking for a reason why you did this. This was confusing. Apart from that;. I was raised with Classical music. But always listened to electronic music to. But this was Simply not good. The visual effects gave people in the place headaches and they ran away. … Sad to see this happen with a musician this great.
