Listening again.. Wesnesday eve of 29th Nov 2023... Not looking forward to my next two days at work, doing a job I was never cut out to do....but your performance of Yann Tiersen is just so heartfelt, wistful, tender and sublime...wishing I could spend my life playing my piano...sighhh..😌😍

I personally believe this is Tiersen’s masterpiece; both the original album and the solo piano version. The pieces fit together so well and with such simple compositional approaches just brim over with vitality and feeling. Your performance is original and stands alone too! Well done. I’m currently learning these and hope to perform them at a recital. I’m trying my own approach but I’m taking notes from your brilliant playing for sure!

This is absolutely gorgeous, Mr Coversart!! I'm in love. That second piece....oh my goodness..That gentle undulating left hand and the yearning tune over the top.🥹😍 I'm so glad you stumbled across the old recordings and revived it. It's so beautiful...all of it!! I'd love to try playing it myself. Tiersen is definitely one if my favourite "composers". I don't suppose you have this in pdf format for purchase?? 🤗
