I first heard this magnificent piece while working part time at Music Plus -1991- i was instantly moved by its melodic rhythm ,i bought the cassette with a employee discount and played it to death , now to see it live with all the glory of the full orchestra ,it's just brilliant !! thanks for posting this .

Yanni doesn't seem to write music that you can picture being danced to in a grand ballroom and in a romantic setting often enough. When he does it, he really captures a whirlwind of emotion in a powerful yet light and beautiful package. I've loved this song ever since I first heard it and when Yanni joins forces with a band or an orchestra, its true elegance finally emerges. What a treat.

This song takes over your mind somehow and moves you all over the spectrum. BELIEVE it or not this was a favorite song at my favorite country wester bar for waltzing, fast, fun. A good lead using alot of differant promanades and turns can clear the floor and have people spellbound watching.

Just saw him in concert and he played this wonderful song...it is by far one of my favorites. Just sit here, close your eyes and dream and all your worries go away - at least for a little while. Yanni is wonderful!!!

This is song says "Welcome to Heaven", Virginia, as Jesus helps my mom (who couldn't walk) to her feet and helps her take her first tentative steps in a long time. Then He waltzes her around Heaven to let her know she is free and can even dance again. God shared this image with me a few weeks BEFORE my mom passed away. I was comforted by this image during the days of her funeral and even years later. Thank-you, Yanni, for your God-given talents. God bless you!

It's amazing to think I went to see Yanni perform at the Royal Albert Hall, 20 years since this was filmed. Makes me feel so lucky to have discovered him when I did. Thank you Yanni!

Imagine this, 1993 after I watched his "Yanni at the Acropolis" on TV (magnificent) I moved to England 3 yrs and while there, I bought a cassette player...as I paid for it, I filled out a small card about buying it? (they asked)...a week later I got a call from a company in London asking if I wanted to come in and give my opinion about Yanni's CD..It was unreal. A black taxi picked me up, (another girl in the back with me) they drove us 14 miles to London, served us a sandwich, cookie, wine and we watched "Yanni at the Acropolis!".........of course I loved it and told them why when asked....then we were paid $100.00 and driven home + a copy of the VCR tape....wow! that was my adventure! Above all...(I knew Yanni was behind the two way mirror! because he was in town for his United Airline ad which used some of that music)..Yanni UNDERSTOOD about my comment in England about his music. I stated "it's romantic, it's amazing and I love how he always let's his musicians shine on their own..." I think Yanni and his musicians are unbelievable. I am so proud and happy for Yanni. Look what he's brought to us! and then soon we all heard his music on the United ads!
