I listen Nighteagle for the first time from radio when i was a kid from a small city in 90s China, and at that time I didn't know how to use a PC to search what this song was, or I couldn't even understandwhat English word “Nighteagle ” means (At that time i dont know the name of this song). Then I study hard, while this song always playing in my brain, I asked almost everyone, but they all don't know. This song accompanied me during my puberty, even when i cant hear that from radios or TV, it still played again and again in my mind, in every cool summer night. Then in 2011 I went to college, and one day my roomate played this song. I finally know the name, know about yanni, know about the beautiful background story and this wonderful concert. I bursted into tears at that time, cuz this gives me a beautiful and long long memory. That means a lot to me. Thank you, Yanni.

It's totally the same bro, when I was a high school student, I heard about this song for first time at our music class. Starting from that time, I fell in love with his songs and I listen to them almost every week, every year. I came to US for master's degree, one day I knew that Yanni would hold a conversation concert in Pitts, I bought the ticket without any hesitation, and I got the microphone to talk with Yanni. I said quite a lot, and even shook hand with him, I consider that moment one of the most unforgettable moments in my life, and he's also a person who makes really big difference to my life.

Same! But it was actually played by the radio of my boarding school after the bell of lunch nap (if you're a Chinese you know what I am talking about). I knew the name of the song and I downloaded in my music player as well. This beautiful piece accompanied me during puberty. I still get goosebumps every time listening to it.

This is the best understanding and rendition of Chinese music I have ever heard from a foreigner. I remember when this concert happened in Beijing. He is one of the first foreign artists allowed to perform in China. My family lived within walking distance from this palace at that time, but we couldn't afford the tickets, so my mom took me to the closest spot outside of the palace wall. I can still remember that night now. It was simply magical. I used to replay this song again and again when I read old Chinese novels. This is a time-travel machine. Amazing. Thank you Mr.Yanni.

Just very randomly the name of the artist Yanni was brought up in my memory recently. I'm from China. I remember when I was a child we had Yanni's CDs at home, but I had no idea that he has had this magnificent concert right in the Forbidden City. I don't know if any other Western musician has ever had the same privilege like that? Not even Chinese artists, and such things almost certainly will never happen again. Really makes me yearn for the good old days when the world was a more open and tolerant place. Thank you for bringing your wonderful and inspiring music to China, Yanni!

Yanni, I couldn’t sleep tonight. I came across this again in my notifications, so I decided to just give it another listen. That wasn’t a difficult decision, this is one of my absolute favorite songs. I hit play, and it immediately grabbed me by the chest, in my heart with emotion. Once again, it took me on a journey, always on the back of the Nightingale, as if I was secured in a saddle, I seated as the saddle were placed on her shoulders, betwixt her wings. She took me over Ha Long Bay, Vietnam Nam, over the Lime Stone Mountains, soaring over the magnificent heights, I, peering over to each side of her wings and beholding the beauty of the flora, beneath me. Not only was I taking in the beauty of the flowers, greenery, mountains, and waters, but I was watching the most beautiful, sight, of the dance of life on the waters below me, as I flew on the back of your Nightingale. My eyes were filled by the beautiful, lyrical dance and rhythm that the people in their boats created as they went about their daily lives of living on those waters, selling their wares, commuting from one place to another, searching the Bounty of the Bay for the Food it brings forth, all, these activities, occurring on the surface below me, from from one part of the Bay to another. Your Nightingale flew low, low enough for me to almost touch the tips of the branches, and flew high into the clouds, so I could see the green and blue tapestry of life below me, from my seat between her intricately and perfectly created feathered wings. As I was with your Nightingale, riding her on this musical journey, and the visual, auditory beauty I see and hear, the emotions and feelings that conjure up are so overflowing, the tears come to the surface, and well into a heartfelt cry. It is not a cry of despair or sadness, but tears of pure release, surrender, wanting, knowing, yearning, loving, desiring, giving. Alas, tears of an all encompassing manifestation of Feeling the pureness and beauty of your Nightingale. My heart swells with the most earnest and purest form of imagination and appreciation each time I hear it, and each and every time I do, tears fall. Thank you for creating music, that stirs my heart to tears! ‘I love you #Yanni. Your Artist Friend, Julia Dufault McGrath, Julia’s Watercolors, LLC

When he used to take me to practice tennis sometimes, Dad introduced me to Yanni when I was 14 years old while driving his car to the tennis court. Yanni looks like a person who can easily blend with everyone, he doesn’t even look at all Greek to me! I just see a man with a new taste of music that everyone came to love and respect for decades! 😄 Now I’m 27, and I began recently to listen again to his music when I feel in the mood to. If it wasn’t for God’s creation of the nature, music such as this wouldn’t have existed at all!

I have every album he ever recorded since the beginning on cassette tape and they still sound incredible. His music has been used on so many TV show documentaries, nature shows, dance and skating routines and more. It is absolutely timeless. I truly believe that God Himself just stops to listen to Yanni's incredible music.

First time I listened is in the period of my primary school music class. It really amazed me and the sound of the flute hit the soul. I still play it often to this day. Whether it is a night of insomnia or a morning of work, the melody of the nightingale makes the mood very comfortable and pleasant.

Best wishes from India।
