Shivan Siv He won't. Quizbowls and UC are two different things. Moreover, his team has lost beofre and we have seen quite a few one man shows get ejected from the competition during this season.

UC and Quizbowl are very similar actually minus the picture/music rounds. IMO UC questions are slightly easier. I agree that one man shows don't tend to win the entire thing but it should be good enough to get to the final because the other 3 on his team aren't too bad either.

Shivan Siv I honestly do not see his team beating team Emma, Edinburgh or Monkman, and it is what he would have to do to reach the finals. Moreover, Birmingham are not a strong team and he has lost to Monkman before, who, in turn, was beaten by Edinburgh. Also, Goldman is not good at science. As for quizbowls, you cannot compare them to UC at all, otherwise UC would be won by quizbowlers all the time. And TV cameras and a studio also tend to make things much harder.

@@AlanHope2013 It's hard to judge who gets the bonus questions, but Goldman correctly answered 10 starters for ten, twice as many as the entire Birmingham team, and more than twice as many as the rest of his team combined. It was a pretty dominating performance.

Each one has Specialization. Potts with history, Lloyd with English & literature, Goldman is the most widely read and an all rounder with deep interest in art history which makes him a formidable quizzer and rounds the team with physics and general science stuff.

Undoubtedly Goldman is a SUPERB player and I envy his vast knowledge. I just wish.. I dunno.. I could like the guy? He comes across rather cocky. There are knowledgeable people like Kevin from Eggheads and even young Guttenplan from UC years ago who show you can be both smart and humble.
