What's up Yapa Fam! In today's TOTD we take a look at being a young Apostolic with sexual desires.
I know, I know, it may be a taboo subject in some circles, but young Apostolics and sexual desires is probably one of the most relevant subjects we can talk about here on Yapa238.
Why? Because young Apostolics failing with sexual desires is CRAZY rampant in today's Apostolic church. So here on Yapa238, I believe it is in the interest of the Holy Ghost NOT to let our young people continue failing when it comes to our innate sexual desires, but rather, be VICTORIOUS over them and stay pure until marriage.
So here we go with today's TOTD; Young Apostolics and Sexual Desires

Definitely Joy! It’s sad how little this subject is talked about but I’m glad I had the opportunity to touch on it. Managing sexual desires is BIG for us young people to grab hold of. If not now, when? Every successful Christian will have to sometime in their lives. It’s what we’re called to do. 🙏🏼

Glad you posted this I used to fornicate with girls and watch porn before being saved. As a result I’ve always had to resist certain desires always wondered if an young apostolic should deal with these or if it’s just me though. It’s a relief to know that young apostolics in general deal with this to an extent and just have to keep resisting it. So far I’ve been able to resist just fine what I started doing is simply not getting close to certain girls. I’ve also at night (time I used to watch yeah) find other things to do and also pray at that time. Another thing I’ve added is whenever a desire comes up I think about how is it really worth my ministry? Is it really worth losing the Holy Ghost? And then like that it’s gone. Now I can add the strategies you recommended also to this and see even more success appreciate the video.

It gave me better understanding on how to train up my 3 boys. Though they are only toddlers now, as a Godly lady I had no idea about how young men may think or how to teach them (as they are older of course) how to avoid certain "natural" circumstances, beyond teaching them to be respectful to women. I grew up outside of a Godly home and my dad was very disrespectful to women, so I only knew men in a worldly view, until I met my husband and was introduced to the apostolic church in middle/high school. And now being mature in Christ, I desire to only expose them to the truth. Great message.

I’m SO remarkably thankful for your uplifting and motivating words sis! I completely understand where you are coming from with your boys. The topic covered in this video is one of extreme importance to young Apostolics everywhere, and though we’ve covered it in material before, a TOTD is one of the most receptive mediums for such a topic. In my opinion, preteens and teens are in for a wild ride if they’re not properly educated regarding these inevitable happenings, and so I hope this TOTD can help bridge the gap and aid parents in training their young people by motivating young people into be transparent with their parents regarding these sensitive changes in life. All in the mighty name of Jesus! I‘m glad to know this video was a blessing! All glory to Jesus! In His mighty name!!! 👏🏼🙏🏼🔥

Thank you for your videos. I'm 31 years old and these videos help me. I wasn't raised in this Truth and still consider myself a baby in Christ. That's why I can relate to these videos for the Youth. Spiritually that age. Thank you for your trust worthy videos. I absolutely love them. So very helpful!!

Good job Aviol!! I'm glad to see that an Apostolic young person is standing up and not being ashamed to talk about what is a big stronghold on the young people and world today! This needs to be taught in church and young people need to know that God has a One Love in their life that they will be with for the rest of their lives! We were made to reproduce with one mate and one mate only!

Love this Favian! God knows exactly what we need and self discipline is critical to our walk with God. And this is a subject we all must find the victory in some point in our lives. When we do we are rewarded with healthier relationships, intimacy the way God originally designed it, and a closer, more meaningful relationship with Him, our significant other, and, believe it or not, ourselves! We feel better about ourselves and walk more confidently when we have disciplined this aspect of our lives: our sexuality and sexual desires!

@@Yapa238 yes sir I needed this. I and girlfriend have been dating for about 9 month s and here recently we have been getting a little too close and I've been praying about it and my dad (which is the youth pastor at our church) has been talking g to me about it and he showed me your channel and my eyes are open to some stuff. I am only 15 and my girlfriend is 18 we are the youth choir leaders and we sing together at church. Also, I am a young preacher at our church and I'm just a teen boy trying to figure life out😫.Neither one of us has been in a relationship and I have been feeling like we are getting to close and I've been praying about and his vid just really helped. So thank you brother

Amen to this! The battle between the flesh and the Spirit of Christ is too real! I always say I can never lose my sanity in Christ because then I'll lose my soul. Christ has given us the spirit of power! And I'm fortunate to have sisters in Christ who gather to pray and devote our meetings to studying about stregnthening your prayer life. Jesus definitely allowed me to find your YouTbe channel because I don't have any Apostolic Pentecostal youth near my area and I need that encouragement EVERY DAY. Especially being an unmarried woman in Christ! Continue to bless our ears in the Spirit of Christ! 😙👍👌🙌

Thanks for touching on this sensitive but very relevant and important subject! I like your careful and well-thought out approach in introducing it. This is a very good, refreshing, and clarifying look at what often involves many misconceptions, and where we actually are! And I think this will really help to understand what you talked about really is, and how to overcome it! (Help me personally too😁) People commonly preach that we need an "outlet", but like you said, we should decrease the "flesh" man and increase the "spirit" man, and rule over sinful desires. This is different from what some say -> that we CAN master this area of life. Thanks for being willing to declare boldly what some may want to "cushion" or "water down" to avoid offending - many try to match or use commonly accepted language, or let themselves be silenced by fear of the persecution or "hate mail" Lol. I also like how you brought attention to our ability to conciously control, and be aware of impulses that would otherwise be acted on before we even realize it. So many good, helpful things said! Helped to clairify difference between adultry and fornication too Lol. Good point that stood out to me at 11:38, 9:36, 10:32 (and just before), 13:34, 14:02 (and right after - 14:24), & 12:34! (And probably much more😂) Also, the energy and personality -> love the creative video editing and humor! -> 14:47, 15:23, 2:30, 3:32, 6:06 & 6:21, 8:01, 0:00, and 18:04! (Click)

As a consequence of failing in this area, does God hold you back from getting married or if you are in a relationship with a girl and let’s say you have been living in victory but fail in this area one day but repent over it, would God orchestrate things in your life in such a way that you lose that relationship because you failed that one time?
@Yapa238

Hey man! First, we have to understand a few things - God’s mercy and the law of the harvest. God’s love caused Him to pay the ultimate price for ALL your sin when He came to earth to die for our sins. Not just the sin you’ve committed before you were saved, but the sin you have committed and will commit AFTER you’re saved (baptized in Jesus name and filled with the Holy Ghost). Also, His mercies are new every morning, the Bible tells us. So when you repent He, “is faithful and just to forgive us our sins.” This isn’t a license to sin but love and mercy for when we inevitably do sin. So when you’ve sinned and repented, He’ll forgive your sins... Now, in Galatians the Bible says that “whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” It’s a principle called “The Law of the Harvest”. This means that whatever repercussions that come from your actions (whether good or bad) you will be left with. In the case of sin, whatever seeds you plant WILL come up... Think of it like this: Let’s say a young couple fornicate and the girl comes up pregnant. The couple repents and God truly forgives them because of His love and His mercy for them and His desire for them to make heaven and not go to hell because of their sin. Does the baby all of the sudden disappear from her womb? No... The baby will grow and she will end up having the child. The seed (literally and figuratively) the couple sowed resulted in a child even though God forgave their fornication. Now they will have to deal with the result of their sin for possibly the rest of their lives... (Side Note: That’s one reason why young people MUST steer clear of fornication. You don’t know that person enough to desire a lifetime with them. Though the sexual attraction might be there that DOES NOT MEAN you’d want to spend your life - or your child’s life - with that person! You don’t want a life like that. Just do it right the first time. 👍🏼) So here’s the deal: If you mess up in this area, God forgives but seeds are sown. Maybe you can’t get the images out of your head or your carnal man will be tempted with it again in a stronger fashion. Whatever the seed is, that’s what you have to deal with. Just like with David and his failure with Bathsheba, God didn’t kick David out of His will for his life because of the sin. He forgave him and covered him with mercy. BUT, seeds were sown and violence never left David’s house because of the seeds of His sin (it’s a deep study but David’s sin caused maaaany problems in his life). All that to say that I’ve never seen God kick people out of His will for their lives - they’ve always ever ejected themselves out of His Perfect Will into His Permissible Will because of sin (meaning the will God has for that person after He adjusts for the seed sown). So, 9 times out of 10, God won’t judge you with never being married or a relationship failing. Remember His mercy. BUT, you will have seeds you have to deal with because of your wrong doing. Whatever it is God will be there to help you with it! Because He loves us SOOOOO much!!! So if you’ve messed up, KEEP GOING! Don’t not get married or think that you’re undeserving of marriage simply because you failed. A God fearing woman (9 times out of 10) will forgive like He forgave if the relationship truly is the will of God! That’s why it’s a MUST for us to walk in His will when it comes to who we date or marry. If it truly is the will of God and you, your significant other, and your relationship is submitted to Him, it’ll all work out for the good! Hope this helps brother! In Jesus name!!! 🙏🏼🔥

Yapa238 thanks man I have to tell you though I am really struggling to believe in the whole concept of “the one” anymore. I mean the last one I had I really felt like she was it. Had confirmations and everything even a word about it and it fell apart. I started feeling like God was judging me in this way by allowing it to fall apart because of some sin I committed. Like it was a consequence of it that’s why I asked.

So if your husband is watching porn and won't stop then should you leave them? What do you believe on that? Because if you tell them to stop and they don't an they won't get counsel then it's really hurtful knowing your husband's looking at other women an you know.

God don’t allow you to divorce your husband nor your husband to divorce you. he is your husband til he pass away. pray for him. God allows separation but not divorce, and you can’t get another man while separated. God Bless in The Name of The Lord. Romans 7:2-3 King James Version 2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband. 3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man. 1 Corinthians 7:10-11 “And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:” “But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.”
