This composition to the biblical text from Hosea 6, ver. 1-3, translate what my heart seeks during these days we call ‘yamim noraim’ that depict the High Holidays in the Jewish calendar and more precisely Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur. Now, during the pandemic, the biblical text get another aspect when we sing "for he hath torn, and he will heal us".
Come, and let us return unto the Lord:
for he hath torn, and he will heal us;
he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.
After two days will he revive us:
in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.
Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord:
