I remember really liking the hulu show of Little Fires Everywhere but have never read the book. Maybe its a case where the show is better than the book but I totally agree with you that all the issue dont really seem like things to solve or anything in the plot. Great video!

Looooove this video. You had some great books! I’m excited to read Just For The Summer, it’ll be my first Abby Jimenez book. “To anyone who comments ‘Is the video sped up’” 😂 when I first started watching your videos I thought I accidentally sped it up. But honestly, there’s something very comforting about how fast you speak lol. It holds my attention much better than someone who uses a lot of filler words and speaks slow.

I wish i loved Just For The Summer. Every person i know that has read it says they love it and i DNF’d it with like 40 pages left. It was just boring and i felt like the man was unrealistic. I wanted more time with her bestie too. You sort of convinced me to see it thru to the end tho. Maybe im missing something!!

i have literally stayed away from Carley Fortune purely because i just know from everything ive heard from you & others that i will not like her style & stories. im curious to know (similar to someone else's question) if you're going to continue picking up carley fortune books at all, even if they were for list videos

The Rule Book set up was really good, however the execution was really bad. Nicole and Derek, even Nora, say multiple times that Nora is really good at her job, but we never see that, besides the deal with the suit company. Derek literally saved her in the two PR crisis. Also, Nora's whole personality was being quirky and making really not funny jokes all the time. Anyway, now I know that this author is not for me.
