SubhanAllah. I Didn't wanna judge. But the language seems a bit discriminative. It should've been more like- "they are passionate about our Deen when we take this religion for granted". The words "their deen" and "our own religion" seems wrong or poor choice and it seems like you think we own the religion and they are outsiders who find it. I'm not saying you think like that but it looks like that. When in reality we're all born Muslim and we all go through the same reality of choice and submission in Life.. They're us! But you are right about them being more passionate and us much careless and caught up in our own made-up sects and divisions because of our ignorance and narrow mindsets.

Muslims say a lot of negative things about the NOI but they really should deserve credit for opening up a lot of non-muslim black americans to Islam. Even though the initial teachings were wrong, they did inspire ppl like Malcolm to eventually find true Islam (who then went on to inspire millions of others to convert)

As Salaam Alaykum. Very interesting story. As it stands, The Nation Of Islam, proper, exsisted up until 1975, upon The Honorable Elijah Muhammad's passing, ( May Allah forgive his shortcomings). Imam WD Mohammed took on the leadership and redefined our community, as Muslims in America.

2-John 14:26 “But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and shall bring to your remembrance all things that I have said to you.” Quran re-emphasizes Jesus teachings to the extent that critics of Islam say the Quran was copied from the Holy Book. Had the Quran teachings been materially different from the Gospels, Quran would have still been criticized for being materially different when both books came down from the same source. Example, And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. Jesus is saying “Our God”. Evidence from the Quran. Allah quotes Jesus saying the following: Indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is the straight path." (Quran 3:51).

4-John 16:07 “But I tell you the truth, it is profitable for you that I go away. For if I go not away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.” Jesus said he is going to go away. He did not say he is going to die or be killed. And [for] their saying, "Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah." And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They dont have compelling evidence of it and instead willingly pursued evidence of uncertainty. And they did not kill him, for certain. (Quran 4:157).

John 14:16 And I will entreat the Father, and anther Advocate (Parakletos) will he give you, that he may be with you for ever, The verse indicates followers of the Messiah should expect a messenger by the name "Parakletos". The Church interpreted Parakletos. It means “Helper”. Due to the word "another", Christianity divided in Paraclete. Early Christians said this is the Holy Spirit because Bible described the "Parakletos" as the spirit of the truth in addition to description “forever”. Another school emerged which says he is not the spirit. he is either Jesus himself or another Jesus (for more details google "Paraclete Wikipedia"). Quran says the name of the final prophet peace and blessings was prophesied by the Messiah as "Ahmed". Benjamin Kildani born 1867 (former Roman Catholic Bishop of a Uniate Chaldean diocese) and a muslim convert was specialized in Greek and Aramaic languages and wrote a book about the name "Parakletos". He said if we pronounce it "Periqlytos” which etymologically and literally means "the most illustrious, renowned, and praiseworthy." it becomes equivalent to “Ahmed” which means in Arabic " the "praised one". “forever” refers to Ahmad’s ministry which is last and final. It will survive until the day of judgement without the need for additional messengers.

3-John 15:26 “When the Advocate has come, whom I will send you from the Father, the Spirit of truth that proceeds from the Father, he shall testify of me;” Evidence from the Quran acknowledging Jesus of Mary as the promised Messiah: [And mention] when the angels said, "O Mary, indeed Allah gives you good tidings of a word from Him, whose name will be the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary - distinguished in this world and the Hereafter and among those brought near [to Allah]. (Quran 3:45). Jews said Jesus son of Mary is not the Messiah. This is evidence from the Quran acknowledging that Jesus son of Mary who delivered the word of God in Galilee is the Messiah. No Muslim will be saved in heavens unless he/she makes this acknowledgement.
